RE: Shares in issue22 Aug 2019 18:43
Yes Sam, but that's because you're only interested in a short term spike.
There are some investors who see the bigger picture here including the potential inclusion of Blanca in with Cascabel to secure a favourable financial package, the value creation brought by the PFS and advanced production plan and right through to production and payback of original CAPEX in less than 4 years.
Nick Mather has led SolGold from a £20m market cap to where we are today (and where we were at 46p highs). He has created this with his trusted board, management and technical teams. He has raised large sums of capital to carry through an aggressive exploration programme at generally reasonable prices, securing the support of the worlds biggest and most prestigious mining companies.
You think the share price of this company would flourish following a major management change? I strongly strongly disagree. I think we'd see the following:
1. For sale sign erected. Any premiums welcomed. I think we'd see offers between 30-45p and we'd struggle to bat them off.
2. Nick would likely sell his 5%+ shareholding and he'd likely start cashing our DGR's holding too. That isn't going to do the price any favours.
Nick mentioned in his recent interview at Diggers that we see the "value valley effect" and that is what this is. The company have successfully completed another year of exploration and study progression. Macro events have conspired against all copper explorers and producers.
Now is the time to start adding to holdings and getting ready for a Nick Mather inspired rally. Support the management and the company or sell down.
