RE: buyback15 Aug 2015 11:59
Now for the really nerdy amongst us, I would note that OBT already had a buyback authorisation in place for the previous year (these things go for a one year period, AGM to AGM).
Exactly, as I said the last time our over ramper claimed this meant that they `are` doing a buyback, this authorisation doesn`t mean they are doing a buyback, just that the authorisation is in place if they decide to...its a legal requirement to clear it with shareholders, thats all.
When/if they decide to go ahead with it they will announce it via RNS, not necessarily every purchase but just that the programme has started with the details of the total amount they intend to purchase.
They haven`t done that yet, the same as they didn`t do it last year even though the authorisation was in place.
As far as our resident over ramper, he`s comes out with so much bs and speculation that he`s even claiming that I`m not a shareholder, you`d only have to go back over my last 18 months or more of posting on here about OBT and what I`ve been saying to be able to satisfy yourself that I am a long term investor in OBT, but he prefers to make things up to try to claim some sort of credibilty.
Here`s a guy who even posts links of speculation of takeovers and other wierd and wonderful theories from people on other sites who themselves admit that they are just guessing with `idle speculation` using terms like `I should imagine, and he puts a title on his post of `very interesting takeover thoughts`!
This guy is an out and out balloon who lives in cuckoo land.
TS, the only `fact` about any share buyback is that it has been authorised by the way of an AGM resolution, a formality should they wish to go ahead with it, the same authorisation that they passed last year....FACT!
