Any listed company with management who are worth the salary would have researched this properly in advance of the delisting, contacted the main brokers/ custodians to enquire of the transfer options. Got a decent understanding of these - and then developed a communications plan to share with shareholders at, or shortly after, the announcement to delist.

So often people here applaud TG and team for taking reduced salaries. Well they surely have plenty of time to sink their teeth into issues such as this as and when they occasionally arise - instead of sticking their head down a horizontal well and hoping it all goes away. Offtakes being important because without those agreed in advance with strong market players, securing the Financing partners will be nigh impossible.

But no doubt all the while others will be chatting lots about potential and amazing project and valuations in excess of 5 quid. Sure that might happen - but with the likely dilution and development challenges and flakey stock markets that need to see cash flows and real earnings reported - we are likely destined to accept a significantly lower return.

Still it should be fun along the journey. Unless ChatGTP and AI engines bore us to death in the interim.

You can ask them for sure - but they are brokers and custodians, not tax advisers - so it wouldn't surprise me if their answer was Find out for yourself. No doubt they will phrase it more gently, assuming they reply you at all.

The problem here is you guys want UK tax rules and exemptions/reliefs to extend cross border when your underlying investment moves away from UK. Suggest you all stop crying like babies, and get on with life. BPOPF invested in Tlou long time after the mining license was awarded by Govt to Tlou. And it was an Asset Manager firm in Botswana that made the first decision to invest in Tlou. Easy to find out their name - just look back at the RNS in 2018 /2019. Then it appears it was the BPOPF themselves which decided to increase their exposure to Tlou - equity and debt. I wonder what they make of their investment nowadays.

When Govt issued the mining license to Tlou, they decided not to take up their right to invest - since there is a formula to be broadly followed in determining the price. But I do remember Tidd_83 trying to tell the 'adoring crowd' at the time that this decision was still to be made by Govt and him telling us how foolish Govt would be not to so invest. But of course, I was savaged for daring to suggest 'against the grain' at the time. And ever since I suppose.

What I will say here and now - the silence on completion of the 2MW project and energising the TX line is deeply concerning now. This has gone on far too long - there would appear to be a problem with something somewhere. Whether they cannot get the wells to work properly; whether it has to do with gas content; or additional costs associated with this that they dont have the money for - dont know. But buying and wiring up gen sets is not difficult; grid connections are 10-a-penny surely; maybe they need a lot more power injected than equiv 2MW-worth - again I dont know.

But something appears to be up here - in the final furlong ....... This all started when they issued that last RNS about potential power supply to a data centre - stuck out in the middle of a wilderness. Tlou have history on such utterances ....

This is a pretty big deal actually - Tlou managed to secure their mining license over the total area of a PL lease and after they had issued a maiden reserve statement. Mining licenses re supposed to be issued for the area to be mined which, for traditional mining activities is a much smaller area. Botala has secured their mining license for a PL lease area BUT does not have a reserve statement.

Botala are coming up quick in terms of their CBM advancement in Botswana - the thing I dont get about them is they have drilled very few wells of their own, instead are relying on data from previous lease operators (which includes Sekaname).

Likely take near 3 years to design and build out the project. With numerous fund raises along the way. And this assumes the Congo Govt play ball rather then play 'grab cash' at every opportunity - licenses and permits, environmental approvals, acceptance of the Construction Consortium (will they look to demand local companies are given large chunks to deliver - problem if yes), power and water at site, beneficiation plant at or near site, rail evacuation, labour broker to hire and manage the local workforce, ..... All good and normal stuff - just that there is a lot to get done before they start generating cash inflow.

3 years in my view.

He is the public front for the people that put in the last 2 meaningful rounds of money - so if he was as hopeless as you suggest, then I would expect in time PureBond and backers will move BT along. They would be closer to the action, and capabilities of those on the management team than any numptie keyboard warrior who likes to fire themselves up and start demanding X Y or Z should be sacked. But I digress - the question still stands - What should or could BT have done differently in the last 18 months ?

The 100km TX line was completed yonks ago - that was the project piece that took longest to complete. But they then said it was the Lesedi sub-station next - ok, if you say so. But jeeps, that should be complete by now surely ....

So if it is not, why not ?

PS I know dewatering has been a smokescreen for a long time.

There you go again Winni - in your absolute haste to disavow anything i might have to say, you jump on the Brad bandwagon that TG is our saint, he has it all thought out, and everything will b all right on the night, etc.

Except that is not what has happened for 3, 4 or 5 years at least. It is a disaster ! The project cost has spiralled beyond belief, yet not one single numptie here can bring themselves to face this rather glaringly obvious fact ! I have a point here, which admitedly is technical in nature. 2MW is not a big quantum; 100+km is a big distance. They have to step up / step down and also suffer line losses along the way. The 2MW is NOT going to get bigger and bigger as it travels to wherever; so 2MW going in becomes what going out the other end.

But actually, who cares ..... The real question REMAINS - WHY ARE THEY TALING THIS LONG TO GET the line energised. Stick a few electrodes on somebody's gingangoolies and fire things up ....... WE ARE BEYOND BORED WAITING !!!

I think you should start researching how 2MW gets injected into a 66kv line, for despatch over 100km to Serowe. Now if they had maybe 10MW, i would feel a load more comfortable about the upcoming line energising process. But then I am not an electrical engineer - maybe I will go ask someone who is.

As for MM - up to him what and how often he posts - the iron ore market isnt so difficult to understand (it actually doesnt move all that fast). And yes Zanaga has news coming - will it be as stupendous as some here suspect, think, hope ..... Given that it has been flagged for so long, by so many - my view it isnt likely to mean the share price will do a Usain Bolt once the news drops .....

But I am positioned - and I am hopeful of perhaps a double and maybe even a triple - at that point, we will all be chatting again ..... on the next big move ,,,,,, and the usual susepcs will be uber bullish .... yet again ....

Oops, i take that back - the sub-station at start was an existing one which they have tied into. But if it is pre-existing, and we do see the one they had to build out in the bush - it really does beg the question, why has it taken them so darned long to construct and tie in to what doesnt really look like complex or significant electrical transmission infrastructure.

In fairness, that is an impressive video clip. I see it mentioned evaporation pond, but having watched it a couple of times, i still dont see it. And given the length of time they have talked about dewatering, I kinda expected to see a mini-ocean. Also, I was wondering if the building with red/orange coloured roof beside the sub-station (at very start) is part of Tlou, or unrelated.

Please take the time to read his '000's of posts about a company which appears to have a great story to tell, not much free float, the price is about to pop, dont get caught on the wrong side, news any day soon ...... Every post of his drivel i read reminds me so much of the waffle he posted here for years and year .... until the inevitable happened ie he moved on to his next pay cheque.

What an absolutely stupid comment to make about BT still being in place. The guy is the mouth piece and public front for KAV - PureBond and Peter W are the decision makers, and BT has to manage the many considerable day-to-day problems to existing, never mind prospering in southern Africa. Dave Catterall and other so-called geological experts frame the exploration activities and where to drill / test; the management team agree this with PureBond and Peter W - then you put people to work. And you hope to find positive outcomes.

But keyboard, anonymous stock-market punters turn up here and shout of their mouths about how to manage a plc - WTF do any of us know about the difficulties of operating in areas where all the locals want to do is rip you off
