Could account for muted response.
Meanwhile ProAct, a product that’s been on the market for years, is gaining significant traction globally.
Stay patient, the manic-depressive market will catch up eventually.
Common EPA!!
Whilst Canada is a safe place for most businesses to set up, not so much for O&G. The Cad Gov is Uber- green, and I worry about the impact of green policies on the O&G industry moving forwards. Not trying to be down on I3, just wondering about the macro picture.
I agree, this is frustrating for everyone concerned. Expansion of Proact into Europe compensates to a large degree. I am also happy to hear that revenue is ahead of market expectations.
I guess we’ll have two product launches next year.
Plant Health Care Europe and its official distributor in Turkey, Agrimatco LTD, held a broad technical meeting to boost the development of ProAct Plus in different crops. The technicians responsible for Agrimatco LTD and Ángel Marín, Director General EMEAA, and Dr. Matthew Audley, Technical Sales Manager EMEAA toured the region of Central Anatolia and Antalya proving the benefits of ProAct Plus in both greenhouse and potato crops. In addition, in extensive crops (remote, maize, wheat, …) the objective of ProAct Plus has been to recover with notable success the plants after the stress caused by the herbicides. During the visit, they shared experiences with large fruit farms (cherries, table grapes and cranberries) about the excellent benefits of ProAct Plus in postcosecha conservation.
Plant Health Care is grateful for the support of the entire technical team of Agrimatco LTD, which has been its official distributor in Turkey for over 15 years.
This time Nutrien - final sentence: “We are building the best agricultural solutions platform and transforming agricultural retail in Latin America. We are proud of our trajectory and we want to grow even more to fulfill our strategic plan”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nutrien announced an agreement to #acquire the retailer Safra Rica, which has been operating in the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo for 19 years. The company has nine retail units, seven in the Northwest of São Paulo and two in the Southwest of Minas Gerais, regions focused on expansion and with access to more than 1,800 active customers.
After approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), #Nutrien will have around 200 commercial units, including stores and Experience Centers, distributed throughout Latin America, in addition to a field team with 1,000 specialized professionals working in the region to serve more than 110 thousand customers.
Since 2020, the company has already made seven acquisitions that support the strategy of growth, expansion of units and implementation of new technologies that leverage its presence in the country and consolidate its operations in #agricultural retail in Latin America.
“With Safra Rica, we will expand our presence in the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, regions of great potential expansion not only in grains, but also in other #cultures, such as sugarcane and citrus fruits. This is yet another acquisition that will allow us to increase our reach in the field to offer integrated, individualized and sustainable services and solutions to #farmers and women farmers in the region”, says the president of Nutrien in Latin America, Andre Dias.
With this acquisition, Nutrien will be one of the largest agricultural retail companies in Latin America. “We are building the best agricultural solutions platform and transforming agricultural retail in Latin America. We are proud of our trajectory and we want to grow even more to fulfill our strategic plan”, concludes André Dias.
With Lula's victory, what will happen to agro?
My answer is quick and simple: almost nothing. Little will change.
Bolsonaristas hate to hear this. But this is the pure truth. The recent dynamics of Brazilian agribusiness, which made it thriving, did not depend only on the current government. This successful story has been building for a long time. And it has several protagonists.
The strength of the productive chains linked to the rural world created its own dynamics, essentially capitalist, technologically based, little dependent on the State. Contrary to what many people imagine, the cost of agricultural subsidies, for all programs, amounts to R$ 9.5 billion, which represents 0.6% of total public expenditure. If foreign markets continue to be strong, and prices remunerate, agriculture will continue. It doesn't depend on Lula.
Protecting the Amazon, ridding it of criminals in the forest, can facilitate trade relations with the European Union. It would improve the return to sustainable agribusiness.

So we've just had some splendid news. Interims were good, licenses and deals in France, Portugal and Spain. License extension to cover additional diseases in Brazil. Directors take a truckload of options.
And yet no interviews that I can find (Vox or Proactive). No upcoming IMC.
Seems a bit odd - like they're not needed? Or is there more news to come?
Moscow has suspended its participation in a UN-backed deal with Kyiv that unblocked the movement of Ukrainian grain out of its southern ports, threatening to deepen the global food crisis.

RichLei In the last 2 weeks
1/ access to France, the largest agricultural producer in the European Union (EU) for Harpin;
2/ access to Prortugese growers with a PreTec fertilizer; and
3/ access to an extra 2 million hectares in Spain following sustainable license award.
F*** yeah! Certainly exceeds my expectations.
..... but I'm not getting carried away ;-)
Brilliant news.
Europe and especially EU countries have been a challenge to break into, but we’ve made a significant breakthrough with 2 excellent sustainable products. Patient investors will be rewarded in the coming years. Well done Angel Marin, JT and team.
Headwinds for sure Steve49 but the company repeatedly say profit within cash. A foolish thing to repeat if untrue.
Also revenue ahead of expectations in this macro financial environment is huge. There can’t be many companies predicting that, but then folk have to eat, and food production is our business.

Intriguing...
So the UNE article is posted on Ángel Marín's LinkedIn following which Mariano Santiago Yelo Martinez (from AGRODISA DEL VINALOPO SL) replies "Great news, Angel." To which Ángel Marín has just replied: "Thanks Santi. More great news will be seen in the next few days… Saludos!"
Thanks for sharing Nomlungu, defo worth an RNS.
This will do a power of good for the uptake of ProAct by Spainish farmers.
Concerning UNE 142500 certification ...........
----------------------------------------------------
UNE is the acronym for Una Norma Española and consists of a series of standards created in the technical standardisation committees (CTN) of AENOR. In this case, the UNE for Organic Agricultural is created to extend the aforementioned European document, which is made up of:
• UNE 142500:2017: on inputs usable in organic plant production, which establishes the criteria to be met by fertilisers, amendments and substrates for cultivation.
• UNE 315500:2017: on inputs to be used in organic plant production, which regulates products for the management of pests and diseases.
• UNE 66500:2017: applicable to certification bodies. This contains the minimum requirements that must be met to certify inputs that can be used in Organic Agricultural, according to the first two UNE.
Organic Agricultural is increasingly occupying more and more hectares of land in Spain, as well as becoming more and more important in our market.
https://www.grupbarcelonesa.com/en/blog/une-standard-organic-agriculture-what-it-and-how-it-affects-us/
--------------------------------------------------
These standards are aimed at regulating the use of inputs (fertilisers and phytosanitary products) in certified organic plant production, in order to eliminate fraud and improve customer trust. The application of this initiation will help companies …. to detect and safely offer more organic and natural agrochemical products that respect the environment and improve agricultural productivity. This new regulation will also provide value to the currently certified organic products that meet the requirements of these standards. For now, traditional certifications will coexist with UNE standards, which represent one step more within the regulatory framework of organic production, and offer additional guarantees to farmers and end consumers with respect to existing ones.

But what news and when.
As we already know, there was a topbrass PHC directors meeting recently. A team photo was posted on several LinkedIn sites with a predictable commentary. .....
But take a look at what PHC Brasil said about it; espacially the last sentence. ... Could be something, could be nothing, but it's been clicking in my mind ever since.

PROACT®AA PROTEfNA HARPIN, NEW INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY
Paula Santos et al. Oct 12, 2022

ProActaa
Applied during the reproductive period, ProAct®aa accelerates metabolic activity and activates hormonal signaling pathways, improving tolerance to abiotic stress. By unlocking the plant's own physiology, ProAct®aa reduces the number of aborted flowers and fruits during periods of extreme conditions and/or high thermal amplitudes, ensuring that growers optimize production, both in terms of yields and fruit quality.
Harpin Protein
The harpin protein, present in ProAct®aa, makes plants more resistant. After the application of ProAct®aa, the plants acquire a faster and/or stronger ability to react to the various defense responses cells respond to small stimuli faster and more effectively than normal
Harpin protein benefits
• Increases photosynthesis and improves nutrition absorption;
• Increased calcium mobilization, particularly in the cell wall;
• Increase in the sugar content in the fruit;
• Higher marketable yields;
• Improved storage performance (Shelf life).
Application mode
The doses and application times of ProAct®aa will depend on the type of cultivar, however sprayed. Fruit cultivars should apply the first dose at budbreak/flowering.
Benefits of applying ProActaa to potatoes: [Lower photo potatoes]
- Applied together with calcium (NUTRE Ca 10), it allows a better absorption of this nutrient, improves the quality of the skin, better conservation (Shelf Life) of the potato.
- Opens calcium channels, and rapidly increases its mobilization in the cell wall.
- Greater tolerance to stress (heat, cold and salinity)
