Nutrien announced an agreement to #acquire the retailer Safra Rica, which has been operating in the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo for 19 years. The company has nine retail units, seven in the Northwest of São Paulo and two in the Southwest of Minas Gerais, regions focused on expansion and with access to more than 1,800 active customers.
After approval by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), #Nutrien will have around 200 commercial units, including stores and Experience Centers, distributed throughout Latin America, in addition to a field team with 1,000 specialized professionals working in the region to serve more than 110 thousand customers.
Since 2020, the company has already made seven acquisitions that support the strategy of growth, expansion of units and implementation of new technologies that leverage its presence in the country and consolidate its operations in #agricultural retail in Latin America.
“With Safra Rica, we will expand our presence in the states of São Paulo and Minas Gerais, regions of great potential expansion not only in grains, but also in other #cultures, such as sugarcane and citrus fruits. This is yet another acquisition that will allow us to increase our reach in the field to offer integrated, individualized and sustainable services and solutions to #farmers and women farmers in the region”, says the president of Nutrien in Latin America, Andre Dias.
