RE: RNS : Kestrel continue to buy TIG12 Oct 2024 13:44
Hi GGG
1st I’m not stalking you, but we seem to be fishing in the same pond (I also own HBR).
TIG could be the next big thing and the numbers speak for themselves. But I don’t know ‘exactly’ how, or from whom they receive their cash. I assume it’s from the internet service providers.
I also note your concern about the budget. This may well be weighing on TIG as well as other ‘good’ companies on AIM. The main fear is that govt might remove the IHT exemption on AIM shares. It is unknown how much money is invested in AIM to circumnavigate IHT, but estimates suggest anything up to 1/5. If there is a significant investment flight it could be terrible for AIM, which is already a fairly broken market. To avoid problems, investors have been selling down AIM in advance of the budget just in case. See podcast ‘On The Money’ 10/10/2024 for a discussion.
I’m considering a tiny investment here, but been stung by this sector before and not fully researched here. Watching several other shares, so not bothered if I miss out.
