NCL drop is overdone, as expectations were set too high for Q3 and NCL didn't match it, so they are paying the price, and dragging us along for the ride.

You could always buy NCL, as the chances are, they will probably bounce up 10% tomorrow LOL

You know, I actually looked this morning at the price at £13.39 and said, well, it's very nearly back to where I sold my first chunk of shares.....did I do the right thing.....

and bam.......it tanks because despite CCL reporting awesome results and awesome future expectations, and despite paying down debt unexpectedly oh no....because NCL can't manage itself, it's tanking CCL along for the ride.

50p down is unwarranted....or even a 65p swing.!

All Travel had a blip due to NCL's results.

NCL reported good Q2 results, but reduced Q3 expectations with warning of higher oil prices, and reduced capacity due to higher customer pricing.

Currently, NCL down nearly 13.5% today.!

What that has to do with airlines is anybodies guess, but that's more than likely what it was.

NCL now down 10.56% pre-market.

It's going to hurt today.!

Obviously nobody has looked .!

NCL has called down their Q3 profit targets, that's why they are tanking pre-market, and that's why CCL is.

The concern is that with rising oil prices and inflation not coming down as quickly as the market "would like", that the price rises will effect capacity.

25c rise.! not 27c rise.!

We closed overnight at $18.97

That is a huge 27c rise from our close.

Expect a 18-19p ish rise this morning.!

We closed at $18.72.

It's currently $18.81.

Therefore, a 9c gain hopefully, or 6.5p ish.

Agreed, it will not be for a while, and they should 100% concentrate on paying down debt rather than dividends.

The only thing is that they need a small dividend to be back in the pension funds lists for investments.

Unsure why they are carrying the huge cash position they are now, unless they think that Covid24 is going to happen.

They could easily get rid of another $5bn of debt with the cash surplus they have.

OR... If they are struggling they could always pay it into my bank account :-)

Unfortunately we need $20bn and a very small dividend so we can get back to Investment grade, so the big funds will jump back in.

Large funds generally will only invest in stocks that have dividends, unless they are major Tech players with major capital growth.

We all got screwed over by Nano, everyone can read the detail, hence why there's actually now coup from multiple areas.

Of course, I could say, you should have sold out when it hit 70p and made money, but as I didn't, and my holding is probably larger than most, I'm not going to call that out.

There is, however, a slight difference between a proven grounded company like Carnival vs Nano, which was always a punt.

That would be a bit like comparing RR to Nano.

You should get 10p-12p a share in March apparently though.! That I'm sure will make up some of the losses....depending on whether the coup happens or not.

They did a Ri to raise funds to pay back their debt, especially the German Gov debt.

Simple place to look at historic pricing, is always a simple google TUI Share Price search, because Google auto-factor in the RI and adjusts the previous pricing accordingly.

Google will bring up the TUI Euro price, but you will get the gist.

CCL for sure is a LONG LONG way away from their peak.

TUI, I don't really know, but Carnival has so much room to grow it is unbelievable.

If CCL isn't £20 a share by March, and at least £25 by Christmas 2024 if not £30, I think I will simply put all my money in a post office account and give up.

Look at my historic posts on CCL, the information that I dug up and compared against Royal is very very eye opening.

TUI, by the sounds of things will jump, but I haven't been following, but everyones inputs so far has been watch the jump.!
