Having said what I wrote below ... for scalp trade on the 1 min chart I saw the 8 EMA cross over the 34 EMA which is a trigger sign for me so I have bought 868 shares at 572p

tend to agree with Hedgies on this. On the technical it is oversold ... RSI on the daily chart is below 30% and to be exact around 10... that's oversold ... but as we know shares can remain in the o/sold zone for quite a while yet as a falling sp finds it level .. it is in unchartered territory right now as you would have to go back to 2008 for support at a similar price. My conclusion is if u not invested .. sit on the sidelines and wait ..... for the RSI to come out of the oversold. just my own perspective. Borgy

Londondan - yep i would agree with you. If you take a look at the yearly chart you will see from the day of announcement of the disposal 05.12 to where we reached today ... a near perfect cup shape.... reaching as you say 150 which will be our new resistance level ( double top ) ..... can we break this? we will have to see but double tops are often resistant points for a while .. may be time to take off profits yet i wouldn't want to miss the special dividend. decisions decisions...

PRB .. i totally get that mate and thank you. Its what they teach us in Business school :-) ... in its most simplistic nature sp should fall the next day after XD by the amount of the dividend... my question which remains is ... is the sp still cum-div? no one seems to know.. i suspect it is hence the rise...

is it to do with the special dividend... i did post that question whether if you buy in now ... would you receive the 21.7p.? no mention of a cut off date? Borgy

Its caught my attention now! Its been on a nice little run since sp bottoming out end of June. I'll take a closer look but the technicals on the chart look good.

To me this is a classic spike up on news (Gap up) .. hitting previous resistance at 359p .... down.... gap filled ... and now slowly making its way back up ... thats how institutional traders make their money. Borgy

question to more informed investors. I have my pot of cash say £40k and if i buy CMBN now i'd get 29,000 shares. so i would be entitled to 21,7p x 29,000 = £6293 RTN of 15%. That seems to be too good to be a true... a no brainer picking up over 15% yield... am i missing something here.....

Agree! only need to hold till end of closing day of XD date (ie yesterday)... if i sell now i am still entitled to the dividend. TBH its now overbought on the technicals and really due some profit taking..... i am in at £1.275 and now up 16% on £2500 investment ....£400+ so possibly Monday will bank that .... use it to pay for my FT.com / Shares magazine subscriptions... I still remain favourable on this. nice to see some posters here.

Good Post Ajk1. Could it be that if they buy at 19.50p and receive 20p from the T/O that's a gross 0.5p profit. On a small sum that's insignificant ... but maybe I too am missing something. Knowledgeable posters I'm sure will contribute here.

Posting in the hope to bring some chatter into this quiet BB. I bought in here on 25NOV at 129p after reading a buy comment in Share Magazine. Good RNS on a contract win today has moved the SP. from a technical point when i bought in i had 138p as my target which is about 7% swing trade profit. I see 138p/139 as the resistance points here first set on 13/04/16 and then again 27/09/16 (double top resistance). I will be watching to see if it can break 138p.. if not i'll just scalp my small profit and leave the original sum invested. Borgy

reducing their holding over the last week disposed of (1.4 + 1.9 mn) = 3,3mn shares. This is having an effect of dragging the buys down.
