The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Yes, it's a pity as information is often 'lost' when the boards become 'busy'. Certainly on ULT, comments like 2p by next week and 4p by Xmas didn't help, even if it is in someones opinion (even though an opinion that couldn't be backed up by facts). many of the results were already written into price. New contracts are what will get this moving.
Am I allowed to think you both may be a little eccentric. LOL. Seriously I am very concerned with market direction having just quickly seen £1400 wiped off portfolio in 2 days. It seems to have stabilised but I am seriously thinking of pulling out of the majority, I wouldn't want to experience another day of falls.
I'm not sure if they will just approach majority, I don't know the rules for the percentage needed for agreement. A lot of times ordinary shareholders are only contacted if on certificate. Otherwise as a nominee it depends on the circumstances and who you are with for registering your vote.
I am sitting here trying to work out the same thing and kicking myself for not taking a lot of profits recently. The thing is are we having a 'down' day or is it the start of something more serious.
Am I correct in thinking that suspension can only be for a maximum of 6 months before an extention can be granted in certain circumstances. If all shareholders are to recieve a circular, then vote, votes need to be in and registered then an EGM held. I guess those things alone would take a bit of time.
Good morning, just catching up with some chat here and that is exactly the question on my mind 'financing'. A little off topic but one of my other shares COO had a similar situation where they announced a reverse takeover and shares were suspended. Shares were in suspension for about 6 months when stories started to circulate that the funds couldn't be raised (I think it was £50million), the shares then re-instated with the announcement that the takeover was off. No change to sp. I will feel better when there is some news re how it will be paid for. Possibly that information will be in the circular to shareholders.
That would be good. I also think for myself I may look towards a few 'virtual' trades to see what the results would be before I dive in. Thanks.
I am ashamed to say that I have not entered the 'dark side' as I call it. Don't have anything against it just need to know a bit more about it, I have 2 accounts with Abbey and TDW but believe I would need a new account to go short? Any info. always appreciated.
Richtea sorry to hear of your loss in SLV and best of luck in recovering losses. I have never really been a long term holder of SLV but just traded a few times for small profits. I would be very interested in following the chat to the percieved bottom as feel it is certainly worth me re-entering. I shall be watching closely myself for when I feel that time is close. Suprised with some figures mentioned as I was thinking 51/52p myself but will hang off for a bit if the concensus is it may drift further.
Thanks Moosh, very much appreciated. I like the fact that this looks like one of those 'gems' still to move. Let's hope it gets there. To be fair 5.5p is good, 8p is amazing. G.L.
Hi Moosh, be sure to keep posting any relevent info. on WAD. I know you hardly think it's started but I will be very keen to hear your thoughts along the way.
I should really start trading this and make some money from it. It was one of my first buys and I have it on certificate. It's really just tucked away in the off chance that they get a national deal and deals throughout the States. As they say, bottom drawer for now.
For a second I got quite excited, I thought fantastic, we have some interest in ULT. I thought, maybe Riddler has checked the charts and something wonderful is about to happen. Alas no. Well, not yet ;-)

Hi, just seen your post and would be happy to offer a comment on one of your queeries. EO. as I understand are participating in a share buy back programme, without going into any other detail on the company and it's strengths in terms of value I can state that the buy back in itself is generally a good thing. As the shares are bought and cancelled then in theory the sharprice of remaining shares should rise.

Good morning, I do agree that short term the sp will suffer and certainly people selling this morning as they were after a quick profit and perhaps thought that news of a JV was closer. Personally I am only in with 'punt' money at the moment which is less than the overall profits I have taken from MMS. I am happy just to take a risk with it and if something develops (which something will over time and hopefully in shareholders interest) then it will be worth it. G.L.
Is this a confirmed breakout yet?
Well this is performing nicely at the moment. Having played the trading range several times (buying under 34p and selling above 39p) this may possibly be the time to hold. It will certainly be interesting if it has a bit further to go. Personally I was out too early when it hit 48p last time, hopefully that won't happen again. With a JORC compliant resource update expected Q4 and commencement of drilling it would probably be silly to keep playing the trading range as news could be iminent. G.L.
