I’m sure you meant return to profitability Moneysponge as you wouldn’t want to mislead. We all know that some exceptional costs have been put through in the first 9 months to Q3 being under performing contracts due to the global retraction in advertising. Company have done everything up front.

Can’t get a clearer message from the company that business is back on track. Very unusual to publish such an RNS which states in black and white that Q4 will be a record qtr.

Boom Market Cap $28m (£23m) is less than half annual revenue of $65m. Most comparable public quoted competitor is ACAST which has a market cap of SEK 1.2b on revenue of SEK1.3b. So market cap is based on annual revenue. Reflects a dysfunctional AIM. All normal valuation metrics are being ignored. Once the market realises this the price will be minimum £3.50 and then move towards the finnCap fair market value of a multiple of annual revenue.

Like so many things these days people have entrenched opinions and are unwilling to observe other views. Anything sensible here is welcomed. But trying to turn obvious positives into fallacious negatives is just outrageous. Tobin and Co will prove their points by actions.

Very astute I would say. No one keeps investing £5k or £10k unless there’s good reason. Consistent buying is strongest indicator of director’s confidence in business. The market has to decide itself but are not in such a close position to know the intimate details of the company. The sells are not based on normal valuation metrics. Come to your own conclusions. The company has really put its neck out in an RNS stating Q4 will see record financials. You can’t do that unless it’s in the bag! The actual revenue figure of £19m has been given. You can’t do that unless it’s been reviewed thoroughly by finnCap.

Good facts Rifkin. Buying £1.3m worth of shares regularly is a major investment. Well done Michael. Stuart Last and Maddoxks have also bought. The share price is not reacting and perhaps it’s just indicative of the underlying manipulation. General markets are weak. Most of the long term investors here know that the company is sound and there will be a big reversal in sentiment.

September Triton Ranking is out. Audioboom is 4th largest in USA by weekly downloads of 18.2m. Way ahead of NBC and closing in on Audacy Podcast Network. Weekly average users are 5.8m and Audioboom is now 4th in USA almost level with Audacy. NBC way back. Cumulus has dramatically fallen to over half of Boom’s Users.

The financials are sorted out now and all this business will translate into record earnings in Q4 and into 2024 as stated by the company this week.

Anyone interested in buying into Boom has to read the detail of Q3. The company sees growth now and has made full provisions for performance contracts. It need not have done this but it’s open accounting and prudent.

Zak I was referring to the date of Q3. Date could have been 18th but now company RNS announced 16th. So they’re getting the Trading Update asap

I think you are wrong Zak. Management want to get the Q3 out as soon as possible. You do tend to be negative.

So please don’t use this site to promote your investments. If you want to continue to be negative on Boom that’s freedom of speech but unfortunately Moneysponge speaks with forked tongue.

200k trades - I know what you mean and if that happens that would be a real market. Issue is that market value of Boom is now way below the value for big investors. But your right liquidity has been a problem for some time. If you buy a large shareholding right now you have to be long term as there is little chance to sell back without MM taking advantage.

Crawshaw - I wouldn’t predict revenue. Q3 2022 was £16.1m. I think forecast FY2023 is £65m. So they’ll be expecting in the region of £17m Q2023 giving YTD ££38m leaving another £17m in Q4. Anything more as you say would really show they’ve bucked the worldwide advertising trend.

Q3 in next 7 days. Podcast industry still expanding and taking listeners from radio and video. Has advertising upturn happened. We have to wait for the company report. Stuart Last should be up beat and Michael Tobin could start to make some profit on the shares he’s been buying. Tobin will be fully vindicated for he belief in the management and the industry.

You have posted a very credible piece. Why have is taken you years to inform this board. Your timing tells everything about you and your information. You are plainly a very bitter individual and should be totally ignored. Tobin is a very astute businessman. He is not going to get into the CEO role and make operational decisions. Brad Clarke is a first class CFO and has done wonders getting the financials in order and on time. Enough said as I think you are a really low person.
