I'll definately look to top slice 1-2 weeks out from actual drill results - until then, will accumulate as large a holding as is reasonable, within my own investment parameters.

The Catalysts and associated Re-rates are all developments to look forward to and should provide buoyancy to the to an overall uptrending price - once we get the funding completely resolved & it's all systems ahead.

Looks like the Company have multiple options on the table.

Neither did he make ANY effort at cost reductions (until apparently very recently) and no indication that his overly generous Salary has been affected in any way. It could reasonably be deemed that he's been extremely RECKLESS, GREEDY and many would argue with some justifucation, MISLEADING in his statements.

He seems to have deliberately communicated information to seemingly willing individuals active on social forums, which has been disemminated in a way that misled the larger private investor following receptive to such.

Individuals who have previously attended AGMs have been effectively shut down when asking awkward questions, albeit a different tact pursued at the past AGM, where CDNOilsupporter, was metaphorically bent over a table by AM and repeatedly 'spudded' to encourage compliance.

I appreciate that AM may (or may not) be going through personal issues atm.....indeed he may or may not be disposing of stock to address such issues......however, people should perhaps desist from slavishly defending his crass & unprofessional behaviour in running COPL.

Farm In news could be forthcoming at any time as well as other Newsflow, including any that may include funding options beyond the aforementioned Farm in - the main point is that we move into actual DRILLING OPERATIONS, hence the rxpectation of major price Re-rates through the various stages, hence any 'potential' for a drop would be extremely transient, imo, with strong bouyancy for a move on the eventual Uptrend.

That's why I adhered to my 'Stagger Buting' and so far working very wrll indeed.

Yes, amidst the reconcilliatory sentiments rightly expressed and appreciated by all, let's not forget that the Management are indeed rewarding themselves handsomely whilst insisting ordinary shareholders subsist on porridge - in fact even less than that.

They're cynical of us and in many ways always have been and going back to the days of FK & AVC - I thought TH would be different but filling his pockets at our expense, just like his predecessors.

SJL, as a champion for the ordinary shareholder - thrust your trusty Sword right up Toby's b*tt at the next available opportunity ;)

I just filter out the background 'noise' and adhere to my longer term strategy an accumulating as large a holding here as possible and particularly at times when the share price is so depressed.

Now the FCA investigation is over and YU. do have a string platfirm for growth going forward, the current price levels can be seen for what they are - a Fortuitous Buying opportunity, imho.

There is such few 'free float' that any small volumes impact the share price in a disproportionate way - just as the price went down to these bargain levels, we can also be fairly confident based on seversl factors, that we'll get a rerun of the sharp push back up, with an eventual more progressive trend appreciation nearer to historic levels at c £10+.

I'm confortably holding my stock until then.

Based on the very recent and stable price levels, with now further subsequent confirmation of intended drilling and clarification on certain aspects re: funding said drilling.

After the spurious articles which saw the price plunge and subsequent Official refutations seening a price recovery, I expect we'll move back to that previous 2.5 -3.0p range, as we await further news on the funding, rig contracts etc.....and thereafter move into actual Operations for further price Re-rates.

Still in the market for more stock as part of my larger 'Staggered Buying' strategy, so will endevour to do so before we move into the aforementioned price range.

Many of us have large holdings here with a dividend of 0.2p, still returning a significant amount, as opposed to messing around with the impotent buyback. Initiation of a dividend itself would have put money on the share price and within the highly sentiment driven Aim market - a clear message would have been sent out and beyond any theoretical discussions on pumping up the metrics for some indistinct return in the future.

Many of us understand Aim and the markets well enough not be sidelined by such talk.

...and especially with such limited number of shares in issue.

We have an official RNS from the company, with an accountability to report factual content and severe repercussions for not doing so.

We also have BB posters, anonymously posting under diverse usernames and with no accountability or consequences to their posting, whether deliberately misleading or well intentioned - obviously everyone here is saintly in their intentions ;)

We'll obviously have certain isolated examples brought up where this wasn't the case but let's be honest, the reliability of an Official RNS is so much greater than any anonymous poster's unsubstantiated opinion.....especially if it conveniently suits their purpose.

The company have released an official statement and many have effectively been vaught with their 'pants down' if you like, or are looking to encourage a large sentiment swing to actively 'trade it'.

Previously, the price was fairly stable around a c2.5p support, moving between the circa 2.5-2.8p levels - that when we were looking for a Placing to be announced.

I've been active in 'Stagger Buying' at different levels and now look forward to a very significant price re-rate as we move through the drilling stages.

Farm in talks also confirmed as being active..... unless any anonymous poster has a more informed opinion.....and not being party or anywhere near the current discussions.

On an aside, what's interesting about that large trade, is that the party seems to have confidence enough to 'rollover' the stock rather than close the position and amidst a fragile share price, which is steadily eroding - is there a realistic expectation of a positive outcome soon?

He still has a company to run and an obligation to shareholders, accepting the difficult time he may be going through atm - whatever that is.

I don't think it's asking too much to issue an RNS updating shareholders on the current situation and would indeed free him up to addeess other personal issues that may be prevalent atm - he is able to communicate obviously and amidst his current turmoil.
