Hutters i don't believe this is the stock for you to invest in , what i do suggest is you short this stock , with the price dropping to 19p you will be in for a major windfall , for anyone else reading this im afraid this is advice just for hutters and I advise against shortening this stock.

Hutters short away and make sure you put every penny you can afford in to it .

Good morning Alex, nice post , I may not agree with most of what you say but your thread clearly says personal opinion which everyone here is entitled to.
You have also put in your thread important please read , so I'm guessing you also want to hear other opinion based on your post , ill try and give you mine.

Firstly you mention cineworld will be flat for the next 10 days , I agree it has not been nice viewing but the general feeling is this is cineworld and the last 3 or 4 months have had a positive trend with a few drops along the way. I disagree about the 10 days, I personally believe as I have mentioned that with a new financial year and some cinemas opening this may have a positive swing /bounce whatever you like to call it. I would however be interested to know why your opinion believes its 10 days only, in case I have missed something , but I guess neither of us will know until the next week happens right as neither of us are mind readers. I'll also ask is BOFA and jangho not big market players.

With regards to portugal and not the rest of Europe I'm a little more baffled on. Part of my job is to understand restrictions etc in place for international travel especially coming into the UK. So for instance to travel to the UK which INCLUDE British nationals, you need to provide a negative covid test , a passenger locater form which shows where you will be quarintining etc and you also need to provide proof you have purchased and will be couriered a covid test on day 2 and day 8 of quarantine, theses are all mandatory.

So borris can make what rules he likes at the border for national security , as he has made it ILLEGAL for holidays away form the UK.
Borris however can decide Monday in his announcement that from so and so date you can now travel abroad, and while he for instance can say portugal and the U.S only it will be down to the individual countries if they will take us , NOT BORRIS
Currently like the rest of Europe Portugal have made visiting them for essential travel only this is thier CURRENT rules.
UK British nationals will need to provide proof of a covid test taken with 72 hours for all people over 2 (yep 2), if you are from the UK you will need to provide proof on why your travel is essential and the reasons, furthermore you will need to self isolate in portugal for 2 weeks. These are the current rules in place plus others subject to change by portugal.

My point is portugal will decide when we can visit and not just borris.

So while I agree holidays will not be happing anytime in the next couple of months I fail to understand while you feel portugal will be excempt from this. And when we do decide to open up travel I can see it being perhaps a green country list similar to the red , which will be subject to change , while the rest of Europe catch up on vaccinations. I believe cineworld will then move on up still as we will be forced to use national resource for entertainment like cinema bars and rest

I can guarantee bc we will not see 110 tomorrow, I can also guarantee that we won't see a drop in price either , will be a very flat day in my opinion , I'm 100% sure of it

L3gionnaire your strategy is only yours, and if you decide to leave next week , month or year providing you get out with a profit then you win , I'm pretty sure everyone in this B.B knows a time they wished they waited for a ittle longer , or sold a little sooner.

We can all have a prediction for the s.p end of day , fact is its always an opinion , if we knew we would all be millionaires right. So people may disagree but can't say you will be wrong unless its a ridiculous valuation.

I think today will not be as bad as the previous few days , just my gut feeling we can't drop to beyond results of financial news territory.

The reason my opinion it will be better next week is other then all the finance stuff , with new year , and isa I have a feeling that borris will announce some kind of international travel plan that will boost the stocks hit hardest, this has been brought forward to Easter Monday and can't see the point of saying bad news twice , I believe it will then have a nice positive impact on the Tuesday.

Again this is just my opinion

Is it me or can anyone else feel emotion here today.
The board is strongly quiet , is it because the last outlet of weeks have been a emotional roller coaster ( for some)

I feel the new investors urging this share to rise , and watching it do just that but cautious not to say anything in case it drops like it has this week.

I feel day traders that sold wondering what point do I go back in , now , later,

I feel the shorters thinking should I have just sold last night , surley this will go down more later , bit question why would it

I then feel the LTH like myself wondering what the weather will be like today.

Hi latpulldown , this was my point exactly, they have no relevance but wonder what the news will do to the stock market in general which can have a impact on cine.

I also feel the isa getting reset Tuesday if you like comes into play as everyone sorts thier finances out , plus will be the turn of a new financial tax year , I'm hoping for a much better week next week , plus some cinemas in the U.S will be open.
Let's hope some nice buying happens today in readiness for this

Another day of low deaths, more vaccines and little cases.

Yet the breaking main news is FRANCE not even on our shores are going into lockdown, why do I feel that will come into play more then the rest of the positives.

Can only be held down so long , erratic rises do come with this stock just like the lows , and they normally occur first day of trading week due to news weekends lets hope this happens soon.

Solihullmike fair point , if I was to take over for instance ( I wish) I would prob wait to see how vaccines and reopen goes before ploughing astronomical amounts at it , still believe like you its unrealistic

With the book keeping in mind , do you also think the no trading days of Friday and Monday (Bank Holidays) is any relevance ?
