I post when there's trolls , I post when things are going well and post when things are not going so well.
Unfortunately at the time of this post things are not going so well , does that mean I believe its time to sell , absolutly not .
There has been some excellent threads today which I have enjoyed reading through , with some superb comments. And I believe there have been a mixture of the comments why the s.p isn't where we believe it should be of where we hoped and thought it would be .

With that said fun investor made a great point that until yesterday the UK has been shut , we are still shut , most of the cineworlds in U.S have been shut.

It has also been mentioned about the shares sold and brought and the m.ms can only hold this down so long , again I agree with this , and an example of this would be on Greetland gold , a stock that has been held down until today where it rose approx 18%. For ages they have been posting super results and the s.p dropped and dropped , it can only do that for so long.

Let's not forget we are still round the £1 mark , something unimaginable only a few months ago , does that mean we should consider selling , due to the dip and being where we are , NO WAY!!!!! we are just about to open our doors and even the thought of not holding shares for when we open makes me queasy. This will bounce , and this will burst, we will be making money , all that's REQUIRED, is PATIENCE.

Even if we had a superb day today and this rose to 1.10 would you be selling before all the films show with hopeful record numbers, no way would we , so let's concentrate on the s.p over the next few months rather then a daily basis , yes its crap watching red days , and we have had more then I would of liked, but unfortunately it happens with stocks .

My advice and my opinion as always Is HOLD your nerve HOLD your shares , if you are currently in the red its only a paper loss until you sell , I'm not saying hold for years, jist hold till the summer and see where we are , I'm convinced if you do that you will hold till BOND and TOP GUN end of year.

Cheers no fear , appreciate the messages , 18p a share IMHO is a no brainer , I haven't invested a silly amount as I prob need to research a little more , but can see myself topping up as and when funds are available. I heard about the takeover but thought I had missed the boat , so was shocked and selfishly a little happy when I saw the prices today , hence why I grabbed some.

Will prob wish in a month or too i grabbed some more today , however if im wishing that it also means I have made some money so all good

Morning all hope all is well and you enjoyed your weekend.

I have to agree with recent posts and a topic which has been covered by a few of the regular posters that todays meeting isn't anything huge. All the major news and where the company are were laid bare at the financial meeting a few weeks back so I'm personally not to concerned.

HOWEVER ....... the fact its making headlines here im sure will make headlines elsewhere , these headlines im sure will read along the lines of 155m bailout etc etc.

With these headlines will come trolls, these people Won't dial in , instead they will wait on the computer to see a juicy headline from the likes of mootly fool , and simply post the link.

And while seeing trolls can be frustrating its also good signs, IMHO and a poster friend of mine Trolls never troll bad stocks. You can watch the board for stocks with NO POTENTIAL . You’ll see pretty quickly that those stocks don’t have trolls. Trolls only go after stocks that are going upwards or have excellent potential to go up. Trolls get left behind, so they want to bring the price down.

Their job is basically to kill discussions on the share chat and depress the share price.
They work in teams, paid or unpaid, normally one joins the positive side to keep it all going.
The tactic is to ask questions which CANNOT be answered and to attempt to create doubt.
Their skill range is in three levels. The top being very clued up. Fortunately we do not appear to have any of those here.

So while its been quiet lately, I fully expect to see a few troll posts today to create nothing but doubt for some investors. Just like I expect some old articles with a new date from the mootly fools etc.

Hey no fear , what a pleasant surprise , saw the dropped levels today , so brought some at 18.8p , a steal in my eyes , not sure what the future holds here yet for me , maybe hold a month or 2 or do some proper research and stick longer.

I didn't relise you were invested here , some proper trolls on cine at the moment , as always pop in and say hi when you get chance

Xenor I have never heard them say buy cineworld my friend.

It amazes me that a stock gone from low 20s to 124 in 4 months and not once in that time failed to see it might be worth a buy , and they want to be taken serious on stocks lol

This is a company that I believe sold for a big loss when it went down in November and have been bitter ever since.

Your post came across with a lot of anger and frustration so I had a look back at some of your posts. And I think I may have come up with the answer , but maybe I'm wrong.

On the 19th Feb price was 79.42 and you posted and I quote part of your post
"Also maybe read my "opinion" status on the post which says "weak buy"...or the by in my post wear I say "I'm holding"...as I have over £30k invested in this stock."

So I'm like ok this is a investor with a lot of money in this stock , why so angry.

I then read on your first of 9 posts and again this was at 79.00
"I'm holding, there will be at least a doubling of current value as normality returns, if CW survive. but don't for one moment think this will return to the pre covid £3 SP"

I agree 3 quid a share is a long way off , ill be sold by then I expect too but is it possible you had 30k invested , sold at a low price and have since watched it rise and become incredibly resentful of the stock as its now currently 23p per share higher.

Or is it possible you are union Pacific brother in disguise , because the posts you put out 3 weeks ago of you are holding 30k worth of stock and you see it doubling to £1.58 per share is in start contrast to what you posted today.

You have never been a huge fan of cine thats clear , but you felt money was to be made , I'm jist wondering whats changed from 19th Feb and having 30k with a double your money investment to 9th April, 3rd wave , cine won't survive and 20% capacity for a year

Nice rise to finish off the week and nice to finish in the blue ,other then that been pretty uneventful.

Let's hope the news brings some positive news over the weekend to push us where I believe we belong , and I don't mean where we are heading , I believe we belong around the 1.10 Mark post financial results. Heading is a whole different target.

LIGHT BEARER, many thanks for your words they have been really useful to me , I'm putting them on a nice peice of a4 paper , I'm thinking italic writing , will put a lovely border round it , might even do it in colour, ill then frame it and stick it above my toilet.

I'm then going to eat far to much food for my body to handle, put myself in a complete mess , ill then sit on the toilet and think my world has ended due to the garbage coming out of my backside.

Ill then read your nicely framed words , in italic writing with its colour border and nice frame and relise that even though it looks like life cant get anyworse there are places in this world where there is more garbage coming then from my backside.

Seems a bit of a flat/ red day all round today , well first hour anyway , let's see where we are midday.
This is probably due to the blood clot news and the under 30s to be offered an alternative vaccine.

What annoys me is sentiment on this alone leads to a flat day, thats if the flat day is based on the blood clot news , however after watching the news and listing to a doctor he said the following. Appoligies if my quotes are slightly out but wanted to get this out before the trolls come out and emphise false scaremongering information.

Chances of getting a blood clot with vaccine 4 in a million
Chances of dying with a blood clot after vaccine 1 in a million.
Chances of dying with a road traffic accident on a 250 mile journey, the same as above.

However......Chances of getting a blood clot in legs after getting covid without vaccine 11%
Chances of having a blood clot in lungs after getting covid and no vaccine and approx 14%.

So its clear your still better off getting the vaccine and the benefits far outweigh the risks , and I for one as a 40 year old will take WHATEVER I'm offered when I'm given the opportunity. It just baffles me that other countrys continue to remain slow in recognising this information.

I'm still more then confident the road map continues, the under 30s are not being offered a vaccine yet for 1 , deaths and cases are still dropping like a stone and when the snooker final etc happen without problems ( fingers crossed) I can see them upping capacity in the cinemas.

You could be right on janghos personal intentions , it would be amazing if he built up a nice stake and mooky said go and build some cinemas in China, imagine what the news on 2 or 3 alone would do to the s.p , makes you wonder why he hasn't done it , clearly a market, maybe its the chinese that wouldn't allow it.??

I would love to be so wrong on a take over bid , as if one came the s.p would rocket and may find our exit point, I mentioned in a earlier post why I don't think they are looking at a takeover.

1) jangho don't just buy buy buy, they also sell , the money they have profited wouldn't be worth doing if they were genuinely trying to build a serious takeover stake

2) with every serious buyer you need a serious seller, and I just don't see it in mooky , he loves this business, his family are in this business and he works incredibly hard for this business, cut him in half and you will probably see cinema written down the middle.

A takeover would be amazing for the S.P alone , other then that I wouldn't want anyone else in place , however a nice large chumk of investment from jangho is always always nice.

Some have different motives, remember bank of america they brought in and then raised thier price , some short, some want to make money others don't have a clue lol
