My experience on what cineworld say and do should be taken with a pinch of salt regarding some timelines ( my opinion of course) I said recently and I'll say it again,when I questioned the timing of k2 short on 1st december 2021 cineworlds reply to me was as follows

A leak is highly unlikely as we are not expecting a judgment for another few months.

Given the significant short and after looking at their investment strategy, it is most likely they have invested in Cineworld’s convertible bond and have taken a short position as a hedge.

2 weeks later judgement come out after being advised it would still be a few months. Either not knowing what was going on or simply a lie , not good either way.

I too am in the belief it will be a long time yet , after all its a very very large judgement , but it certainly wouldn't surprise me if something was to come in at a unexpected time

What annoys me is all this has been done behind shareholders backs.

Would it of hurt to put out a rns today to say intention to raise x amount and give all shareholders to get a pice of the pie.

They then go and oversubscribed, why give more shares away tobyour mates then are actually needed , why not say you have had your discount buy the rest we don't need at market value like the rest of the shareholders.

That's another billion added to the pot.
However good news for me will prob see my entry point but disappointed with the bod here I have to say

Ultimately are they not just seeking a extension.

Yep it's gonna be announced 31st Jun, at 11.10am.

It's price sensitive info but the rules state on a court appeal we can release when cineworld want to providing it's within 74 days. Cineplex have no say in this matter.

Expect to hear a leak very very soon.

Apparently they have just under 30k investors.
However being a app that's free to trade some might hold 40k shares others maybe just 10 lonely ones for 3 quid

A friend of mine has a trading 212 account and is invested in cine , , he told me a while ago the lent out shares were nearly 100% but today it is less then 60%

Question is that for all shares trading 212 own for cineworld or is that just of your personal allowance.

Matters a jot just interested to know. My mate has no idea and he asked. I'm presuming it's the percentage of all shares owned by 212 rather then individual

Nah fun , last I heard one rainy night in Skegness a shed was stolen from an allotment which was holding a load of manure.

The same night a lada engine was stolen , it was distinctive because the tappets were going.

A crime spree was going on that night because a 3rd crime had been committed, 2 long lengths of IKEA wardrobe sides were nicked along with some super glue , the wardrobe was a kids one , pink with gold stars.

I'm currently live south of UK, and in the last couple of hours I keep getting the same advert on the radio, basically saying pog has reached its highest in 20 years coke and all ot to us.

This type of advert raises question marks for me , its kinda like watching the s.p here raise to say 50p and then a advert comes out shouting ggp has reached its highest price , sell them all to me , why do it on a peak unless your convinces it will continue to rise.

Clearly the experts expect the price of gold to continue moving north of its current valuation , that's my take anyway.

if cineworld choose to ignore a court order to pay of debt and cineworld simply decided to go rouge and say take us to a uk court i would imagine getting any type of finance in the future would not only be harder to get but i would imagine also at a higher cost.

does this mean we should be laughing in the faces of all those idiots that spread such nonsense , absolutely not, the s.p is still shocking , we have seen a lot bigger movements then 2p a share before, we are just so low right now the 7.5% gives a false impression , although nice to see it moving north rather then south by this percentage.

however its just ANOTHER classic example some here will spread their opinions , agendas etc on days when red and only red , why? , so they cant be as easily argued against, the rest of what i like to call real investors are hear everyday, maybe not always posting but certainly checking in.
