No probs for sharing......

I was gonna reply and ask why the dates were not shared , however I have got it of my chest here and even if they replied here's the reason, it still won't make a difference as I believe they were wrong not to announce it.

I'm not going to go on about the lack of comms now over 2 dates , they done wrong in my opinion on this instance and we move on.

Back to the movies and with luck plenty of good reading with decent numbers over the next few months , getting some decent revenue right now is without doubt the most important thing.

After my thread yesterday rather then moan on here I decided to email investor relations on the media speculation of the appeal date.

My last 2 emails didn't have the best tone and therefore wasn't answered , another gripe of mine , but not the purpose of this thread. I did however just simply ask the question.

My email was .....

Good afternoon , it has been reported in numerous media sites that the appeal date against the cineplex judgement has been set for 12th and 13th October.

Can i conform this is correct please.

 Yes correct, the appeal will take place on the 12th and 13th October. It has been confirmed by the court.

As the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in Canada, It will be held in person (no streaming)

We believe that the Court of Appeal is likely to pass judgment by Q1 2023 (according to our legal counsel)

I still feel very disappointed this wasn't relayed in the agm or to its shareholders. Forget appeal process , and holding things close to our chest for court etc , relaying just the dates is not a big ask considering the importance of this event and how its likley going to steer cineworlds course post November

My opinion of course

Nice article , having netflix on board showing their conrenrt for longer in my opinion is a no brainer.

We could really start filling up our slots with their movies while making some good money along the way, also a no brainer foebthe netflix fans that want to see either on the big screen before being released on their own platform.

Makes perfect sence for all parties involved.

Repyrr imagine what it will do to the s.p if films all flopped.

All we can hope for is our films to achieve each potential , if it doesn't touch the s.p per film we will certainly see ot in the s.p when we announce the results.

Market is very volitile , I would imagine Sweden and Finland will mean there will be some strong words to add to that volatility.

2.5 years ago the world hadn't heard of covid as well as all its little brothers and sisters that would create further lockdowns. Russia wasn't invading anyone ,inflation wasn't going up up and away and man utd were actually quite a good team.

Australia doesn't seem central right now tobthe above and I'm here for another 2.5 years so a awful lot can change.

Rs2002 while I appreciate the responce that acctually understands what the frustration I have is you might want to say that to the thread with 70 replys.

I believe its on them dates , this isn't a thing the court says we will try and fit it in a certain month , for me it's clear the dates have been set , the dates we're surly not just plucked out the sky as some guess in October.

If cineworld know which I believe they do they should of told us as soon as they knew , we are talking dates remember nothing else.

Rickass if you read my post you can't build much of a defence by knowing dates, please understand its cineworld lack of correspondence regarding these dates that annoys me rather then not telling us the appeal process which might effect any dealings in court

It's in the public domain , the full appeal has been shared on here from the chaps that have been bothered to look for it and kind enough to share it.

I'm not asking for a transcript of what they intend to do at court , just confirmation from the people it matters from that a date has been set.

Really isn't a lot to ask for on such a important event

Seriously I can't be the only one.

It has been mentioned numerous times that mooky doesn't often speak , I have been a big defender of this , since being invested he has a knack of saying the right thing at the right time , for instance shutting the doors followed by further liquidity or trading updates etc.

However im not asking them to mention on what the pre sales of Top gun will be , or to reconfirm that he still believes in cineworld , I'm not asking him to give us monthly trading updates or a regular breakdown on how much we make on popcorn.

Dec 2021 we saw the share price drop approx 25% in a day due to a very big substantial judgement, a lot of investors saw any profits wiped or any loses increase ten fold. Cineworld were quick to say we are gonna appeal , we don't believe in this and that etc. And that they will put in a immediate appeal.

The least they could do and I appreciate its my opinion only is to let the share holders know who have big losses that our day in court has been set and we will continue to fight the judgement that's been given to us.

It's not as though they didn't know shareholders wouldn't be interested, the guys that went to the agm brought it up and its my opinion I as a shareholder or anyone reading this should have to find out this very important information by a fellow poster who was kind enough to share it when found.

I choose to hold , my average is now 40p so with luck we see a rise leading up to the court case , may even top slice if this happens as bringing your average down means adding more shares and money then previously wanting.

But have to admit even I am a little disappointed in the lack of communication with the court date, its prob the biggest thing effecting cine right now after all.

I hope so too cruis , however I know there are very few worth listening too on this subject, and important to remember it's vastly opinion related.

I'll be listening to each opinion just like last time , I'll also hold through the appeal , if it reaches that far, out of court could happen before.

But just like my opinion before if it was that much guaranteed it wouldn't be going to court in the first place, I hope that cineworld lawyers get the job done this time.

Did you know Mrs brown went into her flat at 4pm Friday and wasn't seen until 9am Tuesday.
Either she had a dose of flu or due to living conditions she just couldn't afford to go out.
Maybe she was watching films on her 32 inch TV i saw her buy Feb 16th , or maybe she was decorating as she popped in with some paint last month and haven't seen her empty pots since.

Either way what she was doing between the Friday and the Monday remains a complete mystery , I will report when I know more.

In other news a anonymous tip has been reported to the police that some creepy fella overlooking the only entrance to the block is staring at people and making notes , sometimes he sits there in just stained y fronts, his man boobs covered in butter with the occasional clean bit where his flea invested dog has licked it.

Sometimes he wears a vest with more holes then a trampoline net . Either way this sicko should be locked up soon.
