We've both got the same audience but I don't need to earn a living from them so we're obviously not going to focus on the same things at the same time.

My win here/on Gold has always been measured in years - water/ducks back re the sniping comments, we've not all got a typical PIs attention span of days/weeks - Gold is hundreds of Dollars higher than when I first mentioned what I thought would unfold at some point, enough said.

Just my view chaps but the medium-term specifics on HUM or any other goldy pale in comparison to the likely seismic shift in FX/Gold - this could happen (i.e. it will ...) at any given moment and with no warning.

It seems quiet out there but people are talking about the impending fracture ...

@ID - Don't forget HUM have the additional prospect of yielding north of £50m for Dugbe - it's a virtual certainty they'll sell it - does feel like you debt-obsessed guys are focusing on the pennies and not the pounds IMO but I guess I'm not the intended audience for this stuff.

The debt is irrelevant if Kouroussa comes on stream at anything like nameplate capacity which it seems to be doing very nicely.

It's merely being used by the spivs as the "reason" to dump the SP ahead of what they know comes next @ 200k oz pa going into 2024.

Again, we've all been here before, we had a 4x, we'll have another one from a higher base this time around, just keep buying as low as you can get and wait it out like last time.

PS: Re those complaining about the SP going up and down - well shares tend to do that when the company's fortunes are turning around and the pumping/dumping spivs are taking over - perhaps some of you need to decide whether you're an investor or a trader cos this wasn't exactly the hardest trade to make was it @ 6p>20p?

China’s metals and mining investments overseas are on track to hit a record this year, new data shows, as the country races to secure resources to defend its position as the world’s biggest producer of electric vehicles, batteries, solar panels and wind turbines.

In the first half of this year, Chinese investments and new contracts in the mining and metals sector topped $10bn, according to a report from the Green Finance & Development Center at Fudan University in Shanghai reviewed by the Financial Times. That figure is more than the 2022 full-year total, and puts this year’s investments on track to exceed the previous record of $17bn in 2018.
