I've actually been attracted to debt-laden assets this past year because we're in a strong inflation era so funding expansion of the recovery of inversely inflation-sensitive assets is the place to be.

Two assets do well at times like these - oil to drive the inflation (hello HBR) - Gold to offset the disastrous levels of public debt repayments which is soon to be fully 5% of the US entire GDP - and climbing rapidly - as "Central Banks" pretend to fight the inflation they need more than anyone else to continue their money counterfeiting ponzi scheme.

Quite - I did flag the "market disappointment opp" yesterday ...

I've never thought they'd go to production at Dugbe, Yan and Kou are very similar mines, Dugbe is a different/huge animal entirely.

A sale will bite a big chunk of debt away and/or fund expansion at both Yan and Kou through 2924 just as I expect the gold price to be well above $2k.

It's the same proposition we've taked about for two years now and it's starting to unfold nicely.

The drop to 6p was the FUD shake - no FUD now so this the patience shake - many will fail the test.

Don't forget it's BRICS Day in a month's time either chaps re the Gold price ...

Agree re 20p - 13s is a perfect position for an ascending triangle back to there then 27p+

As I said yesterday, any drop by the "market" today is an opp assuming no bad news and we have no bad news - 50% of nameplate in H2 on Kouroussa and full nameplate in Q4 is precisely where I expected it to be.

Re dugbe - it's worth north of £100m at the current Gold price.

I suspect many will be focused on this:

That's a full year to, correct me if I'm wrong, reach only 50% of what years 1-3 were supposed to yield.

Yup - with Gold seemingly refusing to drop from c$2k and with solid progress (not necessarily solid production - yet) from Kouroussa the future is sparkling.

A solid update appearing to be treated as disappointing by the "market" would be a helluva a buying opp at this late stage of early growth.

It is - that's likely why the prior ATH here was upper 30s rather than low 40s (my valuation of Songwe).

Some nice large "sells" kicking in - Galmut's mob doing their FUD job of course - fingers crossed they reach for the 7s floor valuation ...

Well it obviously reduces the NPV - duh - which is why we're at 10p instead of 40p.

Perhaps if you were to ask questions like a real person you would get a better response but that's not your objective of course - you're a pro laying down the same ole FUD routine aimed at getting the dumb and impatient to gift you their shares before the news drops.

Yan will be smaller in the short-term but if they cash build to go underground @ SE then the 100k+ prod can return and at higher grades to boot - need the cash build first of course.

Neodymium is currently c$75/kg - it's never traded below $50/kg and was c$250/kg 18 months ago.

It would seem reasonable, to say the least, that we're at the right end of the swing if we're buyers ...

They're planning to sell MREC (mixed rare earths carbonate) at a "basket price" of the various individual rare earths so doing a sensitivity analysis is not an easy task but there's a fair amount of detail here:

You're right, the rare earths price has plummeted with Neodymium at 1/3 of its peak of 18 months ago - I dare say that's why we're closer to 10p than 40p.

What an opp though if the ducks keep aligning and, what looks to be a certainty, that the rare earths price starts ratcheting higher in the months/years ahead.

I'm not sure I've ever seen such a sustained run of positive news from every conceivable angle for a company like this - amazing we got a sniff of single digits last week but that's AIM for ya.

We all know what tends to happen going the other way of course which is why we're here - this could beat almost anything else out there over the next 3-5 years ...
