I wouldnt describe myself as particularly knowledgeable rather I tend to look for other sources of info from companies operating in the region to compare with etc. I should mention the Total Venus drill is a good bit further out from the previous drills but if a success it could reignite interest in the entire region. they are partnering with Impact oil and gas and Qatar petroleum farmed in a few months ago. even in the worst case if CEO decides not to pump in more money , there might be a bigger mid cap player watching to make a T/O move . at 3 or 4 million mkt cap it looks pretty cheap for 4 licenses .

recent Share price action has been a disaster for holders . Being a recent buyer im not unscathed either with an average around .65 p. However the CEO was a very early mover in Namibia and there is a large dril coming up that will be watched by all concerned with great interest. Venus Deep by Total near Sth African Border will be targeting a prospect >600km2 - Surface area of about 4 times a comparable prospect in Brazil which was a success. supposedly the largest prospect delineated so far in Namibia and ultra deep.

Also re. Cameroon license , I believe from CEO presentation that Tower picked this up in the midst of the 2009 world financial crash. Amongst all the shallow appraissal stuff there is a deep prospect Idenao which would appear to my eyes to be a classic anticline play.

Then there is the Large prospect further out on the Slope in the Sth African license. Oil tiddlers dont usually get access to prime blocks further out in Frontier licenses - its usually the nearshore stuff. look at Guyana for example - the big prospects are furthest out and usually reserved for Supermajors.

CEO was also a Board member and buyer in GKP sub 10p before the big discovery. Seems to have a knack for spotting very early opportunities. considering he has ex Dana Petroleum founder on board and that he stumped up a big sum again this week its probably worth another 6 months - in my opinion .

think Sey might be a good fit for a merger or suitor btw with all their cash.

bought a modest amount of TRP sub 1p. Dont think the market has understood just how much prospectivity may be within the Thali license which is smack in the middle of the Golden triangle for hydrocarbon exploration surrounded by Addax and Perenco fields . Lowish risk appraisal at Njonji targeting up to 40 million bbls. 3 or 4 Idenao prospects add another potential 120 million bbls in shallow water. Then there is the deep Toe thrust Idenao anticline and Alba plays on trend with the some of the Largest finds in the area ( Alba gas field 5Tcf ), Zafiro Oil field etc .

Might have a point - nos. 4, 5 and 7 are considered unlucky in Chinese so that would be 8 out of 25 wells ....

I bought Aaog around 7p back in 2018. The delays and recurring missed targets are frustrating since the excitement of Jan 2019. There would appear however to be a clue in the updated website of New Age ltd whose Larger Marine III License surrounds Tilapia.

In recent days New Age have published a slide showing leads on their license in addition to the actual delineation of the Large Nene Marine Discoveries led by ENI (75% partners). Until last week ive been looking to see what was next door to Tilapia in terms of drill targets but could not find any info. This has changed

I havnt seen the Nene Marine and Litchenjii field extents outlined until now. The surface area is Big - from Nene to litchenjii is almost 30km and around 10km wide and they are almost joined together a one large structure.

it appears from these links that the ENI / New Age Discovery Cluster ( Nene Marine , Nkala , Banga and Litchendjii ) is a Giant Discovery - similar in scale to Jubilee in Ghana or the big Nigerian Fields . ENI have stated these finds currently amount to 3.5 Billion barrels oil equivalent with about 1/3rd of this as Gas / Gas Condensate . Green = Oil , Red = Gas , Green Red stripes = Gas Condensate

Click on Marine III at the bottom of the page to show the New Age Leads next to AAOG license. New Age have shown 3 medium sized leads immediately adjacent to Tilapia which is shown as a small blob which reflects the small scale nature of the appraisal discovery as proved so far , and what AAOG are attempting to build on.

The AAOG prospectus hints at a larger structure at depth which extends to the Tilapia boundary and south into New Ages license. If AAOG believe that the Djeno contains oil and they have stated as much recently then there is a possibility that a discovery would extend into New Ages License. We may need to wait for TLP -4/5 to get a clearer picture.

If the next AAog wells and also the New Age Marine III leads adjoining Tilapia are proven to be oil bearing then it stands to reason that we may be looking at a Large accumulation with Aaog and New AGE involved and this may be one of the reasons for the ongoing delay. The entire Tilapia license and the adjacent New Age Leads when joined together appear to be about 15km x 7km wide. A sizeable Potential accumulation in surface area terms.

With recent statements by AAOG and with Tilapia only 20km due East of ENI's Giant Oil field and adjoining 3 more Leads, its hard to believe that AAOG doesnt have something worth more than 20 million mkt cap here. In my opinion
