He was also a very early mover in Namibia and has done it again here. the Slope Lead is circa 10x15km according to the New Age presentations- on a volumetric guesstimate , if they drill and find oil or condensate like Total that's easily in the 1 Bn ++Oip range if net pay is comparable. with tower holding 50% and New Age cashed up from Congo sale to tune of 800 million id be surprised if the 2 companies were not in detailed discussions. I think the valuations mentioned below for Towers share are a bit premature - it has to be drilled. it does appear from New Age presentations to be illustrated as a 'drill ready prospect' rather than a lead which is interesting. In my opinion it's not unreasonable to put a value of 50 million for Trps entire 4 license portfolio as it currently stands. Cameroon alone looks worth that if JA can get the 1st drill done . all imho. hard to see much downside from here.

If Brulpadda is 1 Bn barrels and Luiperd is significantly bigger to me that suggests 1.5 to 2Bn barrels +. If one looks at the maps on African oil's presentations it's clear that Luiperd is a much bigger prospect. The almost immediate Shell farm in to the immediate east of Trps block bodes very well. Trp's licence is delineated such that it allows for testing of the same slope leads as Totals acreage. Tower have a stake in a large 15x10km prospect on trend with Total and Shell. looks v. exciting for Tower holders.

well this has got quite boring after the move from 6.5p but with 3 attempts at 9.5p any close above that for a few days will probably signal the next leg up. It has also formed 2 higher lows - 6.75p , 7.5p and looking like a third coming up at 8p so if that confirmed should be a positive indicator for another go at 9.5p

So Putup - you are saying Sothic or the individual Investors behind it , who took around 11% ( I think ?) of GKP in the 2016 restructuring at a prices between 0.86p and 2p+ old money (which is now 86p to 200p New Money) - only to sell up at what looks like sub 80 or 90p ? I dont follow the rationale for such a strategy ?

Could this mean that there is a stratigraphic layer that is effectively powdered stone or more akin to something like Chalk dust or fine Sandstone ? Which might imply that it is very saturated with mobile easily recoverable oil - like the proverbial sugar cube analogy ?

For the Amateur Geologists amongst us can you please elaborate on whether this is good or bad ?

you hold 80,000 hs for over 10 years according to your previous posts and are 28 years of age, 80k shares bought when the price would have been somewhere between 60p and 1 pound 20p old money (2010 ?) is impressive going for someone 18 years of age. Do you come from wealth ?

Just had a quick look at latest presentation. Njonji structure potential production now suggested at 8 to 16,000 Bopd. Cant recall anything higher than 8,000 bopd mentioned previously. Thats without considering the much larger prospective structure in the Northern part of the license.

They were distressed - Debt was 3.6 Bn , cash 350 million so Debt was 10 times cash with Shale in trouble. about 1 Billion in proven reserves. not sure of the reserves breakdown - P2 , Contigent etc. Works out at 1.36 Billion per 100 million of reserves for what was effectively a Distressed deal

Why would JA write this off when in my opinion the least favourable outcome of reluctantly putting the co. up for sale after assembling everything for the last 10- 15 years would probably value Tower at 25-30 million - Possible Suitors ? - New Age, rebuilt PMO , Cairn , Genel , Serica etc etc , Total etc or Mini Majors . That would be a 5 or 6 fold return for the CEO's stake but Id imagine if he can get Cameroon into production it opens a path for a much larger mkt cap multiplier eventually . Mkt cap is rock bottom

Cup and Handle seems to have formed. Indeed we may even be on the verge of breaking a multi yr down trend if we can get past .40-.45 p. Still holding. Anytime ive bought its been difficult to get shares , and I started at about 0.75p

bought a small amount of Trin this am. seems to be lagging the Tullows and Premiers in recovering understandably due to its relative minnow status. always good to see multiple director buys at your entry point. not sure if ill hold or trade in this market. Am aware of the Trinidad operations and the large Anticline looks good for further value. Also - can any LTH here confirm if Trinity still hold the large Sth African Nearshore license ? last time I looked it wasnt on their website anymore. thx
