Someone mentioned 200 million barrels reserves in a post below- they dont have 200 million barrels reserves - those are Enquest type figures. They have 'Potential' reserves which need another 1 or 2 drills to confirm. P2 Reserves are highly sought after and are only proved after a number of successful drills on the same prospect. 1 Drill does not add P2 reserves

what a shambles for holders. why didnt they just plan this properly and drill 2 wells at either West Liberator or Serenity to actually prove up something before trying to add marginal reserves from the marginal portion of their portfolio. I thought about investing at 17p pre Serenity as I suspected a good chance that there was continuation. I decided against at last minute cos I suspected east liberator would hinder any good news from Serenity. stupid strategy and now as usual the big boys get the cheap tickets at what will probably be a fundraising sub 10p.

Lots of upside potential in the portfolio. Another 10 prospects or so in Guyana - Cretaceous could be light oil. Suriname Blocks next door. Drilling a large Peru Prospect with Karoon close to proven oil fields . Tweeneboa Ghana not fully appraised . huge Gas finds in Mauritania recently &TLW have extensive acreage here. Namibia attracting interest again.
Also TLW moved quickly to secure a 35% operator stake in the Comoros License when the Huge Mozambique Gas discoveries were being made by Anadarko , BG , Ophir aroud 2012. biggest LNG facility in Africa planned for the region. TLW reckon 7 Billion bbls gross unrisked potential on their acreage. Plenty reasons to hold at these levels imo

For comparable examples of effective porosity this is an interesting source . Arab D reservoir is the main producing zone in Ghawar btw

Carapa is a BIG prospect. must be about 25-30km x 5km. perhaps Mkt shenanigans looking for a cheap entry point
If the Tullow licenses veer toward a heavy oil cluster id imagine the likes of Total and Equinor or Petrobas will be watching closely .

seems like an AIM style overreaction to what is a 5% odd reduction in production guidance and discovery of heavy oil for the 2 smallest prospects in their guyana licenses. has anyone viewed the Tullow sept presentation ? there are about 15 more leads and prospects on the Guyana blocks including one almost equal in size to Exxons Liza field. whos to say all of them will be heavy oil ? Joe and Jethro are quit small in the bigger scheme of things. I dont own the shares as im more focused on other holdings but Ive never seen Tullow not bounce back the day or 2 after a big drop. probably good for a bounce from here

Gulf Keystone Petroleum HBH Limited - refers most likely to Hassi Ba Hamou (HBH) License GKP used to own in Algeria (2007 pre Kurd / Shaikan when RAK made a move to Take it over. Around the time GKP were partnered with BG on a Gas field with a few Tcf in place

Shaikan Petroleum Limited - ? - fairly self explanatory - perhaps a vehicle to keep Shaikan stand alone from other potential Co. licenses / interests or ventures or possibly a vehicle to sell the Company . hopefully.

'5 billion reserves'. '175 million in revenues' . If the T/O theories are correct it would stand to reason that it is a drawn out process. but hopefully near conclusion. its been 10 long years since discovery.

and whats more the SADR royalty interests just got more interesting with the Kosmos Energy news ( potential 50Tcf deriskedin Mauritania - comparable in scale to Tanzanian finds by Anadarko and BG. Towers royalty interest in license blocks a good bit further north but on the same Atlantic Margin fairway

Former Chariot Oil block shown in first link. I understand they retain the option to back in for 10-20% with Shell from a deal agreed last yr when they relinquished the block

new? not sure what you mean . I bought this previously in 2009 within a few pence of the bottom - 15p I think , and sold at 85p. Back in at 2.75p for round 2 ....I hope
