He is not an investor, read its posting history, you would have to be a complete idiot to believe that.
Anyway Fargob, those smaller units that you refer are actually very important indeed longer term, you need stop your fascination with larger systems as they do serve well but they do not seed many different market segments that is being done here today.
These machines are being operated in key segments for volume sales, whilst we have not until just recently had a larger unit for demonstration purposes we do now have one with an impressive partner, Centrica. This should help close that rather impressive sales pipeline of larger orders, many of those clients will expect to see a working system before ordering. Although that did not stop our Australian entry with a world first hybrid system for 1MWh.
What you fail understand with all the smoke and mirrors investment you have with BMN, it is highly unlikely any company will go from zero today to 500MWh in 24 months time, unless you believe in the tooth fairy of course. There are many obstacles to overcome before a sale can be made, this takes time and then you need a good sales force and after sales teams in place, not to mention a service team that are able to troubleshoot should the need arise.
Further there are grid connections amongst many other aspects that need time to be resolved or indeed confirmed if acceptable before projects get a green light.
redT has made great strides this year IMHO, they have over doubled their output and generated serious interest in a confirmed sales pipeline that is no-doubt nearing the 500 million figure, add to that many segments having specific data available for future clients with actual proof of working, this statement here is quite key: -
"redT's technology was chosen for the project owing to the machines' long service life, low maintenance requirements and the product's ability to operate at challenging sites such as these, where conventional lead-acid and lithium batteries have been used before and have experienced critical failure."
We may not have the largest systems in deployment but we are gaining traction without any form of government subsidies, pure commercial sales based on a solid product that so far has been proven in field over a number of years and now in many countries.
To be fair, sales have been slower then I had expected and hoped for but then when they do land, face it we would not be here if we did not think they will achieve high volume sales, the rewards for holding should be very rewarding. Sometimes we have to endure pain for gain, just the pain here feels never ending right now, soon be forgotten when an appropriate re-rate does come around I can assure you.
