Joe, like you I’ve been around the block a few times on aim, it’s a cesspit unless you know what you’re doing, almost everyone will have had a stinker in their time, it’s lessons you learn from that which are most important, many never learn. It’s all part and parcel of the game.
What is perhaps getting folks back up is your suggestion this stock is maybe a stinker, you aren’t saying it directly but folks appear think that’s your belief. I relate to what your saying, many stocks are indeed pants but this does have many attributes that should propel share price north soon enough, fact your are holding says what you believe.
The fund raise wasn’t best timed for those wanting to trade, however it has given a great opportunity to those new and others who want more shares, likewise those brave enough to hold I would estimate will soon be in profit, it’s not all bad in comparison to other stocks.
For what it’s worth I can generally spot a stinker miles away. I can also read going’s on rather well with most stocks, such as LGO I called it tops and bottoms on several occasions, there’s many others I could mention. I talked with another investor here just after placing and stated my thoughts what would happen over the August month and so far it’s panning out just as I expected, part from share price dropping a little extra lol but then what’s a few fractions of a penny for the longer play, risk a lot for a little bit. Each to our own on that one.
As I said before, I expect news flows to hot up considerably from September, give MOD a perfect opportunity to raise money on dual listing, whilst letting in a few II’s that can’t invest directly today. I’d say they require a good premium over today’s price to appease those last participants in placing, thankfully we don’t have a funding issue, as yet, but we need clarification on Sprott placing so news was bound to be thin on the ground. All this will be done and dusted next week.
As a positive we have a much bigger footprint now in Botswana, that should give us that edge over MOD with both acerage and regular news flows soon enough as we will be drilling all over the place with both JV’s. We have a classy BoD who have delivered a compelling story if not share price. That is what needs addressing next, ground work done so to speak.
Like you I originally invested sub 1p days, sold out long ago and have come back with an average around 2.3p having averaged up a tad. The story today is far better than ever and much derisked, entry at these levels if all comes to fruition should produce a multi bagger for all, 10 bags with ease if all goes well.
In summary, I agree we all need be cautious, it is your hard earned so you need look after it nobody else will, however it is early doors here heard not arrived and a steal of an entry price.
