I bought again at 2.21 to average up.

This is only going one way, long-term.

There are still several large, round-numbered sells going through, but the price is refusing to dip too far below 230p.

I said it yesterday, but it bears repeating, these huge sells are being mopped up swiftly. The sp is itching to move up once the selling pressure (presumably a single individual/entity) is over.

Even if you're a 10%-flipper, now is the time to buy. [but if you want to make real money, hodl 4 the godl].

Look at all those large, round-numbered sells reported after the bell!

To stay at this level with that amount of downward pressure is impressive. I have enough already, but I bought another 5k today because this will soon be heading back up once the pressure is released.

Don't shoot the messenger, but this sp action fits a pattern:

- Appointment of Joint broker
- SP rises without news
- shares forward sold by insiders with knowledge of the upcoming placing
- ... announcement of placing?

I've seen it before. My advice: Buy & hold for the long-term but try not to get spiked :)

Trying to remain a level-headed investor, while enjoying the current sp rise and boost to my portfolio value, aren't we currently seeing the rise-that-always-precedes-news-of-a-placing?

Last week it was doom & gloom about a potential raise at 1.50, now everyone is wondering how high it can rise? At least the current rise means 1.50 is less likely. A 20% discount would be around 1.80.

That sucks, but you made a legally binding agreement to sell your shares. There is no provision to undo the trade, otherwise everyone who sold, and then saw the price rise on the same day, would ask to cancel.

You'll just have to take the %age hit and buy back in, or hold on and hope for a dip.

Assuming BTC is still at circa 59k, I would expect March's numbers to boost ARB to £2.50+

Is that fair value? Hell no! But that is what I expect to happen.

You posted last week that you have over 90% of your PF in DVRG, and then you topped up twice since then, so improving your PF balance will be a good thing :)

Now just watch DVRG rise!

Relax, Burt. Patience is all that is required here to make the sp rise.

But looking at your posting history, you are clearly uncomfortable having all your eggs in the DVRG basket, so rather than continually topping up, you should probably sell a portion and diversify your portfolio.

You'll sleep better at night, and won't need to post so often on the internet, which will improve your mental health :)

Partially true, it appears he wanted Edwards and Bixby out of the picture, but an incredibly disruptive and divisive presence.

Have a read through of some of the ARB RNSs from 2019, and you'll see the power struggle that went on. I'm sure Peter Wall is chuffed Timis is out (or at least below 3%).

Getting rid of Timis is only a good thing, and if First Investments' shares have now been churned through, that is good news and creating a more stable platform at a higher share price.

Ah, that might explain the updated Significant Shareholder section of the Argo website, as of 15th March 2021, confirming that First Investments do not appear on the register as holding more than 3% of the share capital.

Today is the day that the placing shares went "live", and while not a big amount %age wise, it has created some negative sentiment and perception amongst holders and potential buyers.

However, it has been heartening to see the share price get nowhere near the £2 mark.

The first portion of the US trillion-dollar stimulus packages will be in bank accounts as early as this weekend, meaning that there is going to be a large pool of money that could potentially be used to buy into BTC (asap) or the markets (on Monday).

Assuming BTC doesn't s**t the bed, there is a large amount of upside from today's prices and little downside. It's a good time to buy in while others are fearful/selling. That's how you make money on AIM.
