Being a bit of a knob I would be inclined to short circuit the discussion and call it the solve rate. The solve rate is adjusted to be 1 solve per 10 minutes irrespective of what goes on inside the black boxes. Not sure if that helps flush some superfluous equations and numbers but being a simpleton I like a simple life.

Reading the comments by Fleccy about latency and how it forces QBT to locate their solution close to miners might make you think that this 'excuse' is a viable one for QBT as to why the roll out is taking a long time.

Sorry. Naturally I disagree.

The AI solutions as described by QBT, no doubt poor PR, indicate that the AI solutions are based on models developed using Machine learning base on previously solve blocks. Based on that data they claim to be able to limit the search range improving the chance of finding a solution.

Most importantly this is done prior to the arrival of the next block.

Given a block takes, on average, ten minutes to solve and the difficulty is adjusted to maintain this QBT will have more than enough time to calculate and deliver the next best guesses to miners before the arrival of the next block. Latency is not an issue and neither should it be accepted as an excuse.

Of course if and when QBT deliver their solution and of course assuming that it works the difficulty will just be increased to maintain the ten minute solution time and any advantage will evaporate.

I believe I have given a reasoned and reasonable explanation of my views on this particular aspect of the implementation so I look forward to a constructive discussion about my alcohol intake, the colour and severity of stains on my underwear, my present mental health and the advice to seek professional help.

Funny to say voxmarkets publishes similar disclaimers but they are the good guys because they have not, as yet, published an article with negative connotations for QBT. Naturally such inconsistencies will not disturb a person with a Quantum Mind. Having requested a two month extension to answer the Examiners objections, computer program and/or business method, from 21st November 2023 a reply has not yet been added to the records. Of course they might have replied and the page has not as yet been updated but the response was due by 21st January 2024, next Sunday.

I guess we should wait until next Monday or Tuesday to see if they can be bothered but, given the recent reminiscing about childhood memories, this is not homework that you submit a few days late. Then again they might get away with it but they have been warned the application may be refused if they do not reply in time.

It should be double plus bad being late when you have already begged off. This really is not something where you spend 2 months scratching your head only to have a light bulb moment 5 minutes before the deadline and save the day. I think that is a good call.

QBT pretend that their AI IP can be protected with an SaaS solution. Hardware stuff is likely to be a little bit harder. This is not a Virtual Peleton you are implementing on your own PFGA. This is an actual Peleton, with hexagonal wheels, that you are in advanced talks with Peleton to build for you. Presumably with an NDA so they don't admit publicly that they laughed at you.

Since we have had no fanfare of a new patent application Method C is the above.

I am not sure how this one might fit into the World of Grift but as we all now know Patent Applications are things you file for with an RNS fanfare and then you don't mention you might be having some problems later on. Of course, as a result of my amateur knowledge of patents we also know that we will not get to see any details of the progress of that application any time soon. However I would suggest that they already have the first substantive examination and report, assuming they asked for it.

So, actually, it does fit in with the World of Grift. It's just that FG is not Paul Newman and/or his script writer is rubbish.
