Do we know if the control group would receive the “other drugs”?

Could it be the other drugs being used to test interactions were the Source of the problem? Just wondering.

What does that suggest to you? Did the untreated animals get poorly just by looking at the animals that received SDC1801? Or could it be an infection that spread between all of the animals? Why do you think they are speaking with other labs?

For what it’s worth, I don’t think there is any issue with SDC1801 toxicity. If there was I think it would have shown up earlier and it would have to be stated in this RNS. There would be no point restarting another tox study if adverse findings had been observed. I think most likely an infection outbreak within the laboratory.

Despite this set back, the Company anticipates being able to complete the full toxicology study, as originally scoped, with its existing cash resources.

How far into the 16week study do we think we are? Any ideas?

The safety issues were encountered at a higher incidence in the control-group animals which were given an inactive dosing solution compared to those that were actually dosed with SDC-1801.

Clearly the problem is the lab.

Clearly a contamination issue/infection issue with the subjects, the testing lab and not SdC1801.

Luton, that’s my concern. If there isn’t any other options on the table do they try a big raise now before the inevitable decline in sp. I sincerely hope that isn’t the case.
