The exhibition/event industry is well known for being a jolly. Clearly no organisation has ever shown any interest in what Sareum has in the shop window. I think SP’s comment about form an orderly queue was a reference to the hotel bar!

I don’t think SAR is being taken seriously anymore. Parker hasn’t delivered anything of any value. This is just one company, of which there have and are many others, that he milks on the basis of his supposedly valuable skill set. In reality his real skill and experience is dragging out the life of companies that are unable to achieve success. In essence “make believe” spin for as long as you can.

Talk about unloved, I think Sareum’s BOD need to do some PR.

My gut feeling is the orderly queue is just too much for one broker, hence the addition. All good 👍

You could be forgiven for thinking they had more pressing issues to address, rather than appointing another broker. Let’s hope it’s for a positive reason, but Christmas is looming and maybe they deserve a big bonus, and that would mean a cheeky little raise. 😀

Mike, I’m not pretending I know what will happen out to 2027. I stated a possibility. If you think it isn’t a possibility then you are entitled to that opinion. I’ve been here a very long time, I’m now very concerned it just appears to be one issue after another. I’m no scientist, so like many here a bit of clarity would go along way. It’s okay to say there’s no issue with 1801 and the control group didn’t receive it, but in the same sentence state there’s a formulation issue with no further clarification. We assume it’s not the CRO at fault it’s formulation, so why not repeat with the same CRO asap.

Lets be honest no one seems interested in Sra737.

I’d loved to be proved wrong and no more dilution. It’s the same slide show, the same waffle and the same “jam tomorrow”.

Mike, if you feel I’m being over pessimistic, please let me know if I’m miss reading the current share price, when I last looked it was 15p. If you think my negative scenario isn’t possible, then you might want to look at the history of Small cap pharma’s on AIM.

Unfortunately there’s a chance it will go the other way:

2026: fund raise at 8p, tox not good or no offer to partner on p2, share price drops sub 5p.

2027: unable to raise sp circa 2p

Board announcement of de-listing. Thanks for supporting us for the past 20 plus years. We’ve been well paid and have great pension pots, sadly we didn’t achieve anything but it’s been fun.

Apologies if this is a bit negative, but when your first share purchase here was 16 years ago and the sp is (old money) 0.3 of a penny it’s a little demoralising.

I think this is a good punt for big pharma. All out buy for c £40-50m.

I also think now it would be the preferred option for a lot of Long term and short term investors.

Aber, sounds more likely that the CRO is not at fault.

Don’t want to sound cynical, but I’d be surprised if they start before Feb 2026. It came across as if they are trying to justify another year of salaries and pensions. If they get p2 ready, in say 8 months time. If there isn’t an orderly queue then they will have to take any offer on the table. It’s as if they’re pushing the promise of 1802’s potential so they can justify the next 12 months cash burn.

Formulation issue, but might not get to the bottom of it. Why such a vague response???

Morning Potnak, when you say insurance, do you really believe if sdc801 is a right off that there is still a future for the company. Realistically the sp would probably drop to circa 5p. What would the future be based on?

I think if it’s bad news ref 1801 then it’s the end of the road. I can’t see how they would be able to attract any further investment. They’ve be going 21 years, can’t see anyone wanting to invest on the chance of a successful P1 in the year 2046! Although Parker may well tell us he has the future grandchildren of the original door knockers forming an orderly queue.

Colbaltblue, I hear what you’re saying ref over egging for the worst. I’ve always been very positive with regards to Sar’s potential. However the concern is, can you trust statements made by the BOD? “Strongly suggests” is a term thats use could easily be defended if in fact 1801 has a problem. The lack of comms at such a critical crossroads because more concerning as each day passes.

Blockbuster- if they don’t get the current issue sorted ASAP, forget AI valuations. The value will be absolutely fook all plus the petty cash.

Shepster, like you say, it doesn’t affect their salaries or pension pot. If we are facing another 12 month delay the question has to be asked, why should they be paid during the hiatus?

Damien, no disrespect, but you’re making statements as if they are fact. The reality is, no one on this board knows the reason for the issue. Can you categorically state that it wasn’t an infection that spread between the animals or contaminated food or water supply???
