RNS- Positive indicators4 Jul 2021 13:56
A number of new posters who claim to be knowledgeable about Sar and the world in general have mentioned the issue of finance being mentioned in the latest RNS. Indeed the word was mentioned. However I’m inclined to view it from a different angle, rightly or wrongly. Abstract below:
“Subject to successful completion of the ongoing preclinical toxicology studies, requisite approvals and financing, the Company aims to commence Phase 1 clinical trials for SDC-1801 in early 2022. The timing and design of the clinical trials for Covid-19 applications will be determined following consultations with experts in the field.”
So the first sentence makes reference to SDC-1801, “requisite approvals, and financing…etc phase 1 trials early 2022”. Then we have a full stop and a new sentence……..
“The timing and design of the clinical trials for Covid-19 applications will be determined following consultations with experts in the field.”
Clearly they are talking about 2 totally separate trials. Timing, design of trials and consultation with experts. No mention of finance, no suggestion this is subject to securing a source of funding.
Two obvious conclusions 1. If we look at Tim’s statement from 15th June RNS ref HNWI: “These new funds will also help us to further explore the potential benefit of SDC-1801 against Covid-19”
2. In my opinion the most likely, entry in the Agile program has been green lighted and they are in the process of consulting with the experts and formulating trial design.
