The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
It was your own choice to sell, you never gave this a chance.
I really think this has something to do with the downfall of Shearings - Over 50's tour operator. Saga are sure to pick up loads of their customers, or maybe Saga are chasing their assets at a knock down price????
The most negative, miserable posting I ever saw on this site!!!!
Wondering if the demise of Shearings might throw up some opportunities for Saga????
This has been copied from the Telegraph website. If you copy the text and paste it in to Google, up comes the article that Caitline copied.
From PREM RNS:
MNH has not published any results since incorporation as it acts solely as the holding company for purpose of acquiring Shaw River Manganese Limited.
I think this happens when someone is planning a large buy or sell. A few small, but repeated orders make the computer believe that demand to buy (sell) is growing, and helps move the price up or down as required.
"So how many people were privvy to this news this afternoon. Hmmm"
I would say - all those that sold this afternoon....again....
Why so very many small buys of 1000 shares a time????
Just wondering why the secrecy about who this Chinese company actually is....
What was that all about then? Down 18pc, down 9pc, unchanged and MILLIONS bought, and not at 18pc discounted price?!?!?
Just wondering if SAGA will look to buy any parts of TCG -(Thos Cook Tours especially) or whether Fosun will start buying SAGA shares to get their foot in this door....?
Why does Dattels not make a silly low ball offer for the company then???? Or - why doesn't ANYONE make a silly low ball offer for the company????
Thing is - when GR launches his next fund raise - who the heck is going to support the issue? SURELY institutions won't even go near this - let alone PI's???? Assuming the next placing flops, what then? Will he put his own money in again, pay himself back in shares then go private and say it was the only choice he was left with????
Should PREM shares not be suspended if there is an expectation from its CEO that they are trading insolvently and on the verge of running out of funds? George is very quiet at the prospect of (us) losing everything here. What happens to Zulu if/when PREM ceases and it's still an asset? Who would be responsible for selling it - what would be the procedure???? If suspended, would this stop any quick asset disposal?
Uplifting final word from GR in Final Results RNS recently:
"In the event that the Company is unable to obtain additional equity finance for the Group's working capital, a material uncertainty exists which may cast significant doubt on the ability of the Group to continue as a going concern and therefore be unable to realise its assets and settle its liabilities in the normal course of business." (Written By GR)
I actually agree with this. I became most suspicious when there seemed to be NO interest in anyone either buying in to Zulu, or taking them over on the cheap. Not even Lenigas seems to have wanted to build a stake, and he was the real 'Mr Lithium.' Has George been declining offers for PREM so he can run down the company and blame it all on others then own it all for himself via the back door? Who pulled the plug on a Cadence deal - PREM or KDNC?
What would be the process to take this private?
Is Lenigas still 'advising' George?
The market isn't transfixed, it's horrified. If Otjozondu Manganese Mining needs that kind of funding (plus any follow-up topups) then why not just come to market with an IPO rather than borrow from chums. Or why doesn't Stephen Dattels of Circum buy them to develop their asset???? WHY PREM???? Where's GR with his chatty explanation????
Where would the funding come from to develop Zulu - GR has already conceded he may not be able to raise the full amount of the loan he's offering (????) and the last RNS stated that without further funding, the business was not a viable concern. So after he's loaned out the ODD million to chums, who finances PREM's OWN funding needs????
