Not sure how a 15% drop in SP can ever be described as meaningless. Probably not related to any adverse drilling news but MM are keen to see this drop. So there is a reason, we're just not in the loop
Down over a pound in 6months whilst all broker ratings have been positive -tells you all you need to know how the MMs make their money. Can see this continuing to drop until record date.
Excellent point. VOG is a good example that having a petroleum resource and "selling" it to Cameroon gov't is not the same as having an income stream! Macros look great here and as a lth I'm staying in but nothing is certain with the vagaries and corruption in the region.
Possibly but it's on back of negligible volume so not concerned. Topped up on last fall at 33.4p and may be tempted again if ask price gets down there.
Virtually all new builds in NW England anyway have been sold as leasehold for last 10 years. I think issue is more to do with the escalators that were put in leases rather than fact they were leasehold per se. That said I'm sure other builders must have some exposure to possible future class action especially now gov't are making sale of leasehold houses very difficult, almost admitting it was a rip off
