Auctions on open much ado about nothing. It was a whole market auction today, with most shares having a slightly delayed opening. Likely something to do with options or a market issue. Not worth reading anything into such things as they ar simply means to make a market stable.

Generally when these ****roaches start posting it's usually before a sizeable rally, particularly so when there's 4 or 5 new, woe is me posters show up at the same time. Its mostly one guy with multiple accounts. Nothing clever about it, and very easy to spot. Probably someone in over their head on a spread bet short and worried.

It won't hit 550p. It will get a takeover approach at the weekend and gap up to £36 a share :)

Not bad equiv 372 french converted close price. I use that given we just follow the french closing price the next day. Hope everyone ignored those doommongers who were posting woe last night

@Jaspertown. 1) It will have a huge jump on it being settled, regardless of outcome because there will be 100% certainty. 2) They will do that end of June as per their specified tinmeline from their RNS'.

With the amount of deals for peers going on at the moment it would seem its just a matter of time before we are approached (personally I feel we will have been approached informally, but have rebuffed it as Nova want to build themselves into a powerhouse). It will be approached based on its fundamentals, which we all here have invested because of. In that respect a takeover approach is no different to you or I buying shares, just on a much grander scale. Shorts will do their thing, by their nature short termist and sentiment/momentum driven. But medium term we are so hugely undervalued against fundamentals either the price will rise significantly or it will see an aggressive takeover approach.

Generally if you have an offer to buy you want it as cheap as possible, so you could have a big volume buy offer at a lower price, and the market maker lowers the price to get it filled. You wouldn't generally put in a buy offer at a higher price, you want to be filled as cheap as possible. Fill or kill maybe

I wonder if we've had a French seller in the background which is why we've seen this drift, maybe vattel. Could it be they've finally cleared their books and we can move forward

I heard from a friend, who heard from a guy who was the janitor in a hospital who was acquanited with someone who was having a phonecall in the office, about a conversation they'd heard in the canteen. They said they were just about to give Nova a 2.8bn contract. He swears blind its what he heard, honest. Give me strength.
