The share price always tanks, this is NCYT. If you start worrying about it getting slaughtered now and then you shouldn't really be investing in it.

Errr, if they've reiterate guidance a couple of weeks ago (which they did), what has changed between now and then in those 2 weeks? Do you want daily sales updates? I don't understand your logic by requesting an update on an update? Reiterating guidance is the definition of saying that its on track.... I think you are just complaining about it for the sake of it now

Why do they need to review it? They gave an update a couple of weeks ago by confirming the year end estimate of £100m exc DHSC revenue. What more do you need? It is as clear as day.

I think most of us would rather they invested the cash in companies to provide long term growth. That would certainly draw a line under the share price being so woeful. It wont happen though (barring something small scale) until we get the DHSC resolution. I think it highly unlikely they'd buy back any shares as it doesn't really add any value to the company, other than in the very short term.

Does anyone actually believe they will buy back those shares? Having authorisation to do something and actually doing it are very different. Their stated goal is to grow the business, I can't see anyway they'd buy back the shares. Would be lovely if they did but I just dont see it.

That's part of the problem though. When they want votes on their earnings they make an effort with us, but what about the rest of the year, what about the radio silence all year as the share price has bombed. They've made no effort to support investors this year and are undeserving of any additional packages. The only way the sp goes up significantly is a dhsc resolution or a takeover, neither of which I think will occur this month. I feel strongly they should only be rewarded if we all get success.

True Covidop. I'm not expecting a huge no vote, but a decent minority would send the right message. Its a balance. A vote of no confidence isn't necessarily a bad thing long term if it causes the right changes to be made that benefit us all. I dont want the circus show like we had last year of people rushing around to vote yes and slap the board on the back, only for them to turn around and royally shaft those of us that supported them. Show how they are going to settle the dhsc (NDA be damned), show us real plans for growth (not discussing partners for competition reasons be damned), and provide us with a plan of how we get to midcap. Then next time around I will back them, for now I oppose most motions due to their failure this year.

If we all vote yes then how do they come to realise that the vast majority of their investors are displeased with their performance? I get the not rocking the boat argument, but at some point we need to raise our voices and be heard, it cant go on the way it has this year, it needs to change drastically at board level. Best way to do that is to hit their ego and their pockets.

Cheers Wilson. I expect the motions to pass regardless of my no votes, but for me a significant minority voting no sends an important message. Feels like as investors the company only care what we think when it comes to voting for something they want. It's time they worked for us, after all we pay their salaries. Start making a return for all investors and not just the board and I will happily sign off on share schemes, bonuses, whatever they wish. But not until we all profit together, not the employees profiting at investors expense, all stakeholders need to be treated equally, currently we are not.

If a company fails its investors we have every right to make our feelings felt. Feel free to accept everything yourself larry, each investor has their own right to vote as they see fit. I however feel that the company has been terribly run this year, so if enough people highlight their displeasure then maybe NCYT will finally take serious note of its investors, and not just pay lip service to them. If they come out with a plan, and a clear strategy to return growth then I will happily vote for all they wish for. For now, I do not reward failure, which frankly has been staggering this year. They dangle the carrot of growth, and new products, but the share price is down at 340 after hitting 1265 this year, that is incompetance on a grand scale, and deserves nothing as far as I'm concerned. I get zero bonus if I don't provide a return for my companies investors in the day job, I treat my investments the same way.

@risehall1, I objected to all motions, except the publishing of accounts and the share buy back authorisation. Protest vote from me, no rewards from me until investors see an improvement in their investment. Needs some direct action to support the company and investors, until then not a penny more from me.

The UK gov just took a scatter gun order everything from everyone approach. Great at guaranteing stocks of what you need, not so great when you have to pay for it, hence the amount of defaults the DHSC now have on their books. At some point they'll have to settle with providers, at the end of the day a contract is legally enforceable. Not amazing for its providers, and certainly damaging for the govs long term reputation, but hey ho.

That french company by the way is called Valneva. It's off 41% today, has a familar ring to it that.
