RE: Seems Crazy20 May 2026 16:35
Think selling has probably been in predominance since we peaked at 6.9p on 20th April, so about 4 weeks ago. There has to be constant buying otherwise no one could sell. Don't think mm's will want to be holding large numbers, so buys and sells must balance.
Quick back of packet calc. About 800million shares traded since 20th, of which about half will be sales i.e. 400 million. That equates to just under 14% of share capital of 2818 million. Also some of those shares may have been traded more than once by traders , so the actual percentage of shares swapping hands will be lower. Shares held in sticky hands is by far the majority.
I find this slightly reassuring since it shows I am not alone in not having traded in the last month. A missed opportunity maybe though. Oh well hindsight is everything, some may have called it obvious.
