I think the fundamentals for investing here are good. It is not a house of cards like many miner explorers.

Surely this only works if the small private investors can be induced into participating otherwise there would be no one to make the money off? Am afraid we are the weak link. Also difficult to achieve on low volume.

Forensic I agree with everything you said, but I wouldn’t be so hard on yourself about not selling at the peak. It only happened for a brief moment and with the small volumes going through that price would only been available to very few as the sp traced quickly back down. sp went down quickly since a few were trying to catch it before it dropped further. Bad timing for me since I was on a ski holiday with my son so didn’t manage to sell any either. Think the rise now is different and more solid so don’t expect I will sell any now either.

That has been the patten with the rise in the sp so far. Spikes followed by fall backs and the a more gradual retrace upwards going beyond the spike. Seems to be happening again.

BB I would be quite happy for rally to level out here for rest of day. If sp jumps too much in a day it just prompts clowns like Tungsteninvestor and Jane to get involved. Slow and steady is better.

BB you are right about the replying, but it is hard not to respond occasionally. On that score don't reply to Jane either. He/she is part of the same crew.

The only person trying to play games here this morning is yourself. You are trader who is trying to prompt a peak and trough cycle. The sp may bounce around a bit, but it is on a journey upwards. If you choose to sell part way through the journey that is your own business. Stop trying to rope others into your game.

Tungsteninvestor is just trying to encourage people to sell since he probably did himself.

Just so obvious when people sell their shares and don’t want the sp to rise further. No one wants a spike here just a retrace of sp upwards to where it was 2 weeks ago.

Were you thinking about solg by any chance addicknt. Would have worked out ok for very early investors there though.

Having more institutional type investors increasing holdings would definitely be good. Would reduce free float and help stop sp rickashaying around. If institutions try build a stake here of anything approaching those numbers sp will be multiples of what it is now.

For someone criticising others price predictions, you seem to be giving some very precise predictions yourself. Decembers a long time away. Let’s remind ourselves that in the last 6 months the sp has climbed by over 900%. I am not saying that will repeat, obviously not,but I think you need to allow a little more latitude. There is a lot of news to come in the next 6 months and I still think SML is massively undervalued compared to comparable peers. Also think it’s a mistake by some to expect SP to jump on command at each news release. Impact takes a while to filter through to SP. Some sell on news, some buy, so it takes a while for price to level out.

Everything up today. Wondering when to switch over some shares to isa. Looking at trades today looks like at least one bed and isa transaction.

Jane you are just a chancer. You watch out for price movements, try to predict an outcome, sometimes you guess right, sometimes wrong. If you guess right you make out like some kind of genius, if wrong we don't hear from you. Am assuming that you sold out again. Don't bother replying please.

Prop I am going by closing prices, not intraday. You can always get intraday spikes and troughs.

Nice little rise ticking along now. I’ve mentioned this before but there is a pattern with the way the sp is rising here. After every steep rise the sp has dropped back about 25%, flatlined for a bit and then more slowly retrace upwards again overtaking the previous high. This happened after the high of 4p on 9th Feb and then dropping back to 3p. Also before with the high of 1.05p on 14th October, then dropping back to 0.75p. Let’s hope it happens again.

Glad to see you back Tungstenman. We needed a bit of balance to the pessimism or realism as some would have it!
