Bait the MM with a sizeable stop loss, simultaniously setting a Huge limit order as a trap... MM drops the price to take out your stop loss, triggering a huge buy at a discount. Probably getting a bit Alcie in Wonderland though lol.

Yeah, i mean stop losses in the context of a steep drop, i hear a lot about them not getting triggered until the bottom is reached.

And yeah, i use Quote Deal, sometimes hundreds of times per day lol, probably a bit of an exaggeration, but a lot. Think i could get a quote and navigate to the cancel button blindfold now without hitting buy or sell lol.

Im glad to be able to buy back in there now, i have had to sit out a bit of a rise due to being concerned about a placing being around the corner, but obviously im pleased now that i waited.

If you mean the PRD bb, yeah its a hectic one lol.

Yeah, I messaged the broker about using market orders in volatile situations to try and get some clarity on which orders should take priority, and if they actually do, but unsurprisingly got a stock answer that didnt really help much.

I have wondered if using the telephone ordering service would garner the best price in certain volatile situations, simply because of the attached price tag - you have o be paying for something right, but i dont know. Again i got a vague answer.

All these market orders seem very poorly administered, on AIM at least, to the point of being a liability. Im not speaking from experience, but anecdotally, am often reading people put in orders that arent filled or a stop loss that trigger way below target, usually bagging the worst price of the day.

I do like a good theme park ride. The older low-tech ones are the scariest for me, you are so well bolted into the modern rides they feel almost too safe. With the old creaky ones it feels like you could be thrown out at any moment lol.
