F92 , so dtu probably not required , is that your feeling, I thought that we might use dtu. On the previously drilled wells but the distance between wells was pushing it. But it could have depended on the fracs IE the width of fracturing they were planning which was not known, so my assumption in previous posts that there could be infill wells. But if the play is wider fracking in the formation ,which from reading numerous papers can be quite varied. My feeling is that dtu could still be used . If the fracs planned are wide so in fills won't be possible, but do the company think they can release that load without an extra $6m x 8 drilling costs but with the aid of Dtu at lower costs.. What do you think plausible or not.

All conjecture at the moment but each 1% increase in flow rate on 8 wells based on an estimated Powell 110,000 barrels first year, would be circa $580k in the first year. So let's hope zipper fracking in a common shale formation proves a plus and delivers afew extra %. Plus if DTU is being implemented this could increase flows again and be carried onto our future multi pads in WD . A 5% increase in flow rate pa" would net us an extra $200k pa year on each multipad (6% FC) ,so if we kick off two more at ED and 8 in WD that could be an extra $2m pa over previous figures, Possibly More in WD as our cut could double to say12%. Also if DTU does increase the flow rate of WH&P to near initial flow rates, that could convince True and Haliburton to further back the company. The next month at ED will prove big imo if all goes to plan and we are in fact using PWP. lf DTU does reinvigorate wells and the wells are worked on each year this also keeps a much higher level of revenue coming in each year. Down side is the cost Of The Nitrogen to implement this strategy but there is always a snag. If the company isn't forth coming with info one can only dream.

JoH, yes was trying to find confirmation that we are using it but to no avail. To me this is quite big perhaps part Of The True deal but can't confirm this.so we wait until the wells come on line. If we are using it would have been good of HNR to tell us.

I still can't find if the previously drilled wells would need protection, but as I think HNR would have highlighted that fact, I presume no. Could have been interesting with cheap N if those wells could have proved increased flow rates .

I understand True are drilling in two shale formations. My point really is we(HNR) said we zipper fracked the previous 2 wells but they where in different formations. Now True will zipper frack wells in the same formation. Will we see the benefit of this with increased flow rates thus proving zipper fracking this way, and if so by how much. We don't have long to wait to find out. But would be a lesson to take to WD if flow rates are increased in these wells compared to the previous wells. It would be a big plus if when go on with further multi pad investment.

0k ,let's see what the sequence is when it happens,you think that they will frac in different layers simulationly,so you know more than the average guy,perhaps from your visit and chats from Denver last year...dont know whether that's a good or bad sign really, Unless I've missed something,or you were told something about the geology where we're working. Just saying from north to south doesn't imply the sequence that the wells will be fracked imo.

B as we've stated a zipper Frack ,and as three are to be done together all in one shale formation I would presume. Which is different to the previously drilled wells which where in different shale formations Niagara a and b. From what's stated this is a true zipper frack as in one shale formation where the previous wasn't.

a logically conclusion to think that the centre Of The three wells would benefit from deeper fractures due to the staggered effect on both sides Of The well. Also if the wells are effected by the well next to them which zipper fracking seems to imply does the existing well need pwp.

The effectiveness of zipper frac has been approved by the industry; however, the treatment's optimization is still under discussion. In this paper, we present a new design to optimize fracturing of laterals from both rock mechanic and fluid production aspects. The new design is a modification to zipper frac, where fractures are initiated in a STAGGERED pattern. The effect of well spacing on the changes in normal stress has been evaluated analytically to optimize the design. Results demonstrate that the modified zipper frac improves the performance of fracturing treatment when compared to the original zipper frac by means of increasing contact area and eventually enhancing fluid production(OIL).
