if you’ve read the geology you’ll know why it points towards a possible resource basin of that scale. Whether it’s commercially extractable, at what cost, and over what timescale, is another question. We know what the range of risked valuations is for this campaign. Much more than that isn’t likely this year.

The basin could be a 100 year resource so you can’t assume all the potential value onto the share price short term. HE1 is not even a production company, it’s a prospector. There will be a bounce for sure if they make a discovery but be realistic about the challenges of bringing that discovery to market, which would take a while, require a new business model and more capital as well as favourable political conditions. They’ve done everything right so far but one step at a time. Talking about £3, £5, £10 is very premature.

If they can exploit additional processing capacity to take advantage of increased market share. Total mining capacity globally can't be altered due to the algorithm but yes, it gets easier for those miners remaining and as ARB don't sell the coin they mine there should be an advantage in accumulated holdings against future price rise.

I really wouldn't worry too much unless BTC price strays much beyond the 2 standard error confidence bands on the S2F model for long (currently that's around $25k ...or $300k going the other way!). People get far too spooked by short-term movements. On an log scale curve the fluctuations are only likely to increase numerically over time, best get used to it or buy shares in Lloyds.

Maybe read up on the H&P risk assessment documents as a starting point? Nothing has really changed yet and there won't be a simple equation to predict the SP. Commercialisation is a long way down the road. At this stage it's still about prospect and discovery. If there is an initial discovery then the SP will probably spike and some people will sell on that positive news. If there is insufficient data to claim a discovery then it will probably go down, pending better news on the next set of drills, and so on. Flow tests will help predict the commercial potential, bringing that to production and market requires a whole new business plan (or a takeover bid) which might take a while. The SP might go down during the planning time and then up again in a year or two when it gets to fruition. Hard to say.

@mick - that's not a live SP, Google just tickers most recent trade prices as they go through.

Scarcity in the short term is also affected by the extent to which miners (like ARB) can hodl the coin they produce or release it to the market at lower price points.

No, we are not ‘going slow’. Great care is needed at the first stage and in less stable strata to get the bore established, cemented and so on. The RNS clearly explains this and confirms that the next stage of 24 hour drilling is now started.

@mj - why would you want to see higher % in mud flows at this level? Can you explain?

Nice RNS, I like the suitably careful news management and not over blowing the trumpet. Helium shows are great at these % in the mud, with signs of a good trap on the reserves lower down. Looking forward to the wire data confirming the sub structure. Great news so far for the first drill.
