To be fair, you are being an idiot. The board haven’t ‘deceived’ anyone. They’ve been extremely transparent about the challenges, which is why it’s dipped. No surprise there. The long term news is fantastic, the short term news is not as good as expected. Play it whichever way you choose on your personal investment timescale. Too late to short though, they were out by 8.15 this morning.

Hopefully so. That will really depend whether they then decide to raise more capital to bridge the further delay or add more kit. Probably they don't need to if they can get that 250bpd up and running, just not there yet.

Challenging conditions in the well, fairly normal kind of risk. They'll be fine hopefully. Excellent news on the reserve production potential, just depends how much time/cash they have left to get this on stream at a break even production rate after having to give back the rig to the contractor. They can ramp up production once it's clean and there is a cash flow into the business.

Just being realistic MediMan, the RNS explains that they've run out of time on the rig contract before being able to complete the planned clean up, due to the earlier delays and challenging conditions. The reserve discovery and profit potential is fantastic, way better than expected. But being realistic, it may take longer than hoped for to realise this. It's a 'good news, bad news' RNS. Overall good, but limited in the short term.

Previous RNS = "On track for spud of Tai-C in the second half of September". Not sure how much clearer that can be.

Unfortunately Roger, you just have to accept that HE1 is the hottest drill on AIM at the moment and with the rumour of a raise it was going to be an obvious short trader target, which is what happened. The advantage of these toxic LSE discussion boards is that you can at least spot very quickly when the shorters come to play. That ought to be an obvious sign to either get out with profits or wait for the dip to add. However, all good things come to end and if they can't get it under 6p today they'd be mad to leave those positions open over the weekend in case there's an early RNS update Monday morning.

For all those hoping to close their positions between 5-6p, it's Friday and still no sign of that happening, have a great weekend ;-)
