Am I understanding this right? ...

Arc is pleased to announce that it has today placed a total of 73,600,009 Units at 3.00 pence per Unit, each Unit comprising one (1) new ordinary share of no par value ("Placing Shares") and one (1) share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the Holder for a period of 36 months to purchase one (1) ordinary share at 4.50 pence per share ("the Placing").

Seems like for 3p they get one share "plus" a warrant to sell a share at anytime in the next 3 years at 4.5p.
So say the price is a notional 20p this time next year, they will be able to sell their shares that they paid 3p pence for (fair enough) but then can exercise their warrants by buying a share for 4.5p and then selling it..making a nice cheeky 15.5p profit per?

It seemed to me that there was something...lets say "odd" about the placing. You could see from the price movements last few weeks and wether they saved money or not, it should have been at a decent premium..minimum 3.5p. Last placing was at a premium and 4.5p. Since then weve progressed quite a lot and the potential is much greater with the new discoveries, so 3p was too cheap and doesnt incentivise the directors who also got in cheap. If theyd bought in the market the price surely would have been pushed up and they would have had to pay more.
Keeping my faith with NvS for now but not so naive as some here and will be keeping an eye on things as not everything will be in his control.

May well be out or reduce though if I get a sniff of anything fishy diluting our potential profits.

That said, directors do have plenty skin in the game and im holding NvS to his statement of no more placings needed until mid 2020 at least. Hopefully there will be no more need of them at all if the csd is in production in 2 weeks now as stated and it can process enough ore to give us 2 or 3m pa of profit, plus sale of assets.
Anyway lets wait and see what happens in the next few weeks. The sp "should" rerate higher if we get some steady good news.

Hope your wrong A Rahim. Hate to think.that as soon as Mr Mushinges onboard theres dodgy dealings. Your right 4.5 would have been fairer.
We can only hope that this is the last of placings and or dodgy dealings at the expense of the rest of us.

Personally im not getting hung up on timing. This is an aim mining company and i think its all par for the course. We can all see the potential but its still only potential until proven up. We have Kalaba in the bag. The rest, for now, is only soil samples, aeromag data and dreams. We cant expect any substantial rerate of the share price until the sale of casa, the csd in full production and the jorc for Kalaba, which will all come soon enough.

Remember weve already been told it will take months to complete the analysis of the aero and soil samples but hopefully meantime well already be doing some exploratory drilling with jv partners in the most promising areas.

I think NvS is being honest with his targets..maybe too honest for his own good? Could be adding 20 or 30% on to his estimates to make himself look good coming in under time and keep the punters happy.

I feel sure the csd is already in production and well get an update... "shortly" at a time that suits him not us small time PIs.

Meanwhie..not exactly happy being 50% down on my investment but given the potential of where that sp could be in a year or two, im quite relaxed. I think 2020 will be a very good year.

Thats very useful. Even with my glass half empty, I can now see that "potentially" we are right up there with the Sentinels and Kansanshis and well worth the interest of majors if all goes well.
Just need to be patient now, wait for results of drills and hope for the best.

About the triicate..probably down to the on off nature of the internet where i live. Worst internet ever :(

What im trying to do is get an idea of how our present and prospective areas will look if all proved up, (with new areas 10x size of Kalaba as being touted), compared with a Kansanshi or Sentinel. In other words how will we look through the eyes of a major company like say FQM or Rio Tinto.

Will we be as big as either of those mines ive mentioned?..half the size? A quarter? I know its not easy to compare because theres lots of variables likes grades and how easy to mine. Also I dont see Cobalt being mentioned for Kansanshi or Sentinel..just some additional gold but were supposed to have significant amounts of cobalt as well as copper.

Does anyone have a realistic estimate/guesstimate of the potential size of our assets compared to FQMs Kansanshi mine. Seems theyre producing about 1.2million tonnes of copper concentrate per year?
Which dwarfs our potential 30 to 60k tonnes p.a. at kalaba but if we have 10 times that at other sites were talking about maybe 700,000 tonnes concentrate p.a. probably more with increased efficiency, which comes somewhere close to Kansanshi. No idea how total amounts in ground compare though because cant find the total reserves of copper concentrate for Kansanshi.
