Yes corruption here is endemic westie and even though the president is trying to stop it, hes pretty much peeing into the wind. Thats just how it is here and you have to accept it. They make even our politicians look like saints in comparison.

Maybe not something we need to go into too much, except in the context of our investment also being in a third world country. Im sure theyll realise that any more tax hikes will result in serious job losses and majors looking to other countries with a more sensible regime to invest and do business.

Im no expert on Africa but I do know about corruption in third world countries in general and I think its easy for politicians, especially those with an agenda, to blame foreign companies for the woes of the country while trousering much of the taxes for their own personal gain. Things not going well..not enough investment in infrastructure etc...citizens unhappy.... protesters on the streets...lets blame the foreign companies and increase their taxes.

If they go too far of course investment dries up and their problems increase. Theyre playing a dangerous game

Very decent summary by sta60 of current state of affairs. Just waiting for the start of some good steady positive newsflow now and hopefully the game changing news that weve hit the motherlode at Cheyeza West or one of the other very promising targets.

Might be labeled a ramper by our deramper but IMO anyone buying at this price is getting a bargain. Cant see much downside from here and massive 'potential' and the executive chairman buying more recently at this level gives me more confidence that well all be happy this time next year..even the resident miserable old git :)

I think youll also find that I mentioned that the economics of the CSD might not be as good as we hope and that NvS has said as much in the 2018 icc.

I think negotiating the offtake agreements is crucial. We obviously need a good deal and it might (or might not be) another of the things that causes delays There are lots of things (apart from rain and muddy roads) that could be adding to the delay. Guessing is all we have at the moment.

Im pretty or should it be fairly sure that shortly is longer than imminent but lets not get too hung up on that. The problem is probably more to do with lack of patience...or should that be a shortage of forbearance?...hmm!?

Nice to know CSD plant is being commissioned...whatever that means, but what we really want to know of course is that its in production and offtake agreements are in place. We might have to wait a bit longer for that but im sure it wont be long now.

The trouble with your recent comments is that theres no balance. Its all negative and its the same old complaints. Why are you complaining on here? Whats the purpose? Yes thats definitely at the centre of things Chris. Were certainly providing help.and advice there and I get a feeling something big will come from it. Negotiations are going on that were (small investors) not privy to so patience is required. Mike Joseph investing heavy here recently (30% of the company plus warrants) and stating firmly that hes in for the long term gives me confidence that he must know something we dont and its worth waiting for.

Yea thanks for that. Internet is slow here so havent seen it all yet but so far so good. Worth watching for the non experts. Even I can understand it.

Its possible we could be taken out earlier at the right price and 'if' the new targets prove to be as exciting as management think they are, but if it came down to accepting say 30p ps in 6 to 12 months or hanging on for hope of a higher offer after further drilling and a jorc (say 50 or 60p) in 18 to 24 months then its a tough decision but I think we can trust NvS and his team to make the right call. Especially as they have such a big stake themselves.

All just my supposition based on wether those new targets are as good as we hope and NvS seems to think they are. I reckon well be waiting another 6 to 10months at least to get a really good idea of what we really have because we are talking about massive areas to drill have but plenty other good news to come in the meantime.

Ive also been waiting for months now for some info on our involvement with Comarco. All I know is that its a big private company involved mainly in shipping and logistics but with other businesses and offices in other parts of the world apart from Africa.

As for AAAP's involvement with them..its unknown but obviously theres a strong tie up and negotiations are ongoing. Wether it leads to an rto or not we cant say but im sure that something will come out of it that will be transformational for us.

China youve gone from having a fairly balanced if slightly picky view of the company to suddenly being unrelentingly negative so you cant blame others for thinking you have an agenda. Not saying you have..just that thats the way it looks.

I dont get it...why would anyone hold shares in a company they so obviously have no faith in? Yet you claim not to have sold any.
