don’t get excited (or nervous!) CK isn’t on Bloomberg, but there’s a section that’s run during the ads called Bloomberg Philanthropies and talks about Covid-19 Antibody testing.
Gives a real world understanding of anti-body testing as we fight Covid. Goes on to say that anti-body testing isn’t the silver bullet, and mentions that it’s a piece of the puzzle that fits with anti-gen testing, and both will be around for a long time.
also mention that the US small number of anti-body tests that are accurate enough, but other counties throughout the world are progressing to clinical trials.
Worth a watch
Won’t happen. The advisors to the company are incompetent
jacksdad, when the company come out with one set of figures in the investor prospectus and another set less than a month later in an update, wouldn’t you be miffed as a holder? AIM is the Wild West, but when a statement is ambiguous and doesn’t define the timescale in which the ‘hundreds of thousands, if not millions’ will be made, it’s obvious that the SP will suffer.
we sign up, roll the dice and hope... based on our judgement that we get it right. but when you have shi**y RNS’ releases, where’s the hope?
I took my OO, topped up with 3k shares this morning, as it will happen, but with poor PR, it will take longer.
Yes, it’s a direct cut and paste. Last thing I want to do is be held up for anything libellous, not that he’s sent anything other than a standard C&P email..
‘Thank you for your email and comments.
The ultimate responsibility of RNS statements, and their contents, lies with the Company and not the PR company. Our statement reflects our approach to not over-promise before we have sight of delivery and therefore try to over deliver.
Nothing has changed from what we outlined in our most recent investor presentation and it is our aim to ensure that demand matches the capacity we are building. Which hopefully will in turn we will be able to reward your support over the coming months.
Best regards
Colin’
amazing how the company can want to reject any requirement to issue a speeding ticket RNS from AIM, but have a real lack of desire to protect holders that have just taken the OO, or even new investors.
It stinks.
Whilst I am in not doubt of the authenticity of the emails being shown, share holders (both II/PI) need it in an RNS. They have to submit a revised statement. And whoever fu*ked up needs to pay for the RNS cost
Depends if the presentation was written by the PR company, or professionals
Let’s see if he picks up those mistakes quicker than he did the bo**ocks in the RNS
So email CK, do something about it.
Bombard his email, and Walbrook.
It could be a typo, I hope to god that it is.
If so, they should submit the revision before 8am, surely?
But we use the shambles that is Walbrook PR.
I’m no expert in RNS writing, but what I do know, 100% is that they’re prepared by the broker/PR company and presented to the board for sign off before release. They aren’t written by said individual, merely signed off
Hi Colin,
Firstly, the RNS below is inline with market expectations, thank you and a good job.
However, the reason for my email is to share with you my fears that the company is being severely damaged by the completely unprofessional, boarder damaging PR that the company implementing.
Whilst I can completely understand that there is a need to mange expectations, the sentence in William Rhodes’ statement will bomb the share price and investor confidence beyond belief.
‘ we are rapidly developing new tests, together with our partners, for COVID-19 that will need to be made and sold, ultimately, in the hundreds of thousands of units, if not millions.’
Why on earth would anyone even entertain the idea of managing expectations is such a was as to suggest that there’s only a chance of millions of tests being made, after a significant placing of £11m, when the placing was made to ramp up production?
I’m sure you’ll receive a number of emails today regarding this comment, but I urge you to reconsider the use of Walbrook PR. Shareholder value is being completely eroded because of poor PR, and this can not continue. The company is in a good position, but it could be undone very quickly with a continuation of the relationship with Walbrook PR. I’ve voiced my concerns to you as recently as last week about their poor attitude towards Private Investors, and now we have this.
I wish you luck at the investor meeting today Colin, I will be joining and fear it could become very uncomfortable when the subject of PR is raised, as I’m 100% certain it will.
Kind regards
watch the SP drop on the bell, the market will be negative to the use of ‘if not, millions’.
Who the hell is advising us on our PR? Walbrook... wan*ers
How many are U.K. Government approved though?
maybe big col has called the boys and told them to stop taking the pi*s, they’ve made their coin and he’s sick of getting sh*ty emails from investors who want his head on a stick...
I appreciate what you’re saying Steve, but from the mouth/keyboard of Paul, he doesn’t think the OO will get near the anticipated figure because of the marker price.
he doesn’t care! He says it himself, the placing has been successful and the OO is basically the peace offering to the PI’s, who won’t take it now because of the SP.
Our mate Paul basically said they don’t care about PI’s taking their OO allocation.... makes you wonder, if we get any director buys or options being allocated announced to take up any shortfall?
If so, the FCA should be looking at this.
My understanding, and could be wrong, that the allocation gets shared amongst those who have put in offers that are greater than their entitlement, up to the amount they’ve bid for.
Rest, not sure?
The BOD have stitched up PI’s. that’s what.
Fundamentals haven’t changed; if the placing has been undersubscribed because the II’s didn’t like CK’s interviews, then everyone who put in ‘outrageous’ x5 their allocation will be allocated them.
big thing to com out in the coming days is, did CK’s mates stump up the cash or did they disappear when it was their round?
is it too late for us to propose a vote of no confidence in CK for the GM?
