that's probably because CK is the CEO of a listed company, and not a bozo on twitter.
Be like CK, not bozo
absolute bo**cks.
There is no way a listed company will tell some bod off the street that they've hit design freeze, and will announce and RNS once they're ready.
The FCA would be all over them like a rash.
They’re desperate to keep this below 60p, but why.....?
Could we be in for an RNS? That drop to 56p was ridiculous..
Great point bluemoon, the ‘survey’ stick tests could be ideal for travel & restoring some kind of normality to social events.
wonder how many people would agree to pay the cost of the test (assuming its circa £10 as mentioned), to get to the pub, fly on holiday or to the football? Got to be a fairly high proportion of the population.
combine that with an antibody passport from a lab test, and you’re sat in the Winchester waiting for this to blow over
Could the release of the delayed trades from Friday, suggest they know of a 7am RNS?
64.85. But it’s easily found, one hell of a trade
Han**** said the sticks are fine for surveys but not clinically accurate.
Did handjob just say that the rapid test sticks aren’t accurate enough for clinical results, but they’re acceptable for the use in surveys?
wonder if the consortium are involved with the saliva tests that Newton just mentioned?
strong buying in the last 5 minutes...
I wouldn't be surprised if we see an RNS today.
Personally, the employee's taking share options is a strong sign something is happening. they wouldn't be taking them if this was a dud, they'd be taking the cold hard cash.
not all, I have a small holding compared to most.
I believe the government want the UK-RTC to work and will make sure that it does, this has covid and Brexit upside. But I'm surprised we didn't see an RNS today given the rumours seen all over this BB.
when the news comes, it will drive the SP again. but at the moment, there are too many rumours. I'm very much in the 'don't let the facts get in the way of a good story' camp, but wouldn't mind seeing some news right now
this is more than a shake; will continue until there's confirmed news and not rumours.
If BBI are in the consortium, are we in danger of passing on the silver bullet of home anti-body testing to Roche inadvertently?
Surely government aren’t that stupid?
I’d disagree with the overstretched hospitals Rob, no disrespect. Other than covid wards, the hospitals are quiet.
But I do think it would be lunacy to send people to join queues outside hospitals (or local doctor surgeries for that matter) to have blood tests, that could take a while to get the results back because of limited lab machinery..
Couldn’t agree more.
However; I think the design freeze and manufacturing has already started (which business in their right mind would spend money on extensions in this climate, without nailed on orders? Answer.. none). An RNS confirming design freeze would destroy the de-rampers.
I think some investors may have been spooked by no RNS at 7am.
Have to say, personally, I’m surprised there wasn’t one. But there is a serious play going in the background by GOVT, they won’t just roll over and accept defeat for the consortium they setup.
Doing so would make their brexit arguments null & void; Boris will not allow that to happen IMO. There will be fruit from this consortium, but new investors will need updates inorder to fully appreciate the value of their shares
Trying a dummy sell, NT every time but price dropping. MM’s at work or huge selling?
Sorry, Piper, didn’t read the board before posting. Just noticed you’ve posted already.
Lord Bethell has tweeted the breakdown of the 122k tests on 30/04 today..
The figure for home tests (27,947) is the one that intrigued me, I anticipated this to be much lower and nearer to 3k. Are these tests that ODX could have produced this week?
Also, there is a second and much smaller PHE figure of 1,072. Could this be a trial of the home antibody tests kits ODX/RTC are aiming to produce, but sent to people that have 100% had COVID19 to benchmark the accuracy?
A very interesting set of figures, with a lot of questions that may be answered very soon.
