no disrespect intended, but if I was a large PLC, would I want to pay for my staff to have blood tests or a 10 minute finger prick test to clear them for work? 10 minutes or a couple of days.. no brainer.

This is nothing to do with ODX, it’s their own POC test. We’re working on their LAB test.

My feeling is that the government will make it a British ports standard UK-RTC test, so won’t just be LHR.

The UK-RTC will be used as the gold standard in the U.K, forming part of our air bridge system, with the test (along with an antigen test) being completed in the departing country, before arrival in the U.K.

In terms of the manufacture of tests this can only happen once the Consortium have reached design freeze (as stated in 9 April). The reaching of design freeze will be a material event and would be subject to an RNS announcement without delay. There are no circumstances where the Consortium could reach design freeze or have a product approved without there being an obligation for Omega to inform investors without delay via an RNS announcement as it is clearly a price sensitive event. It is clear that the manufacture of tests is something that will happen in the future. It is not happening now.
