Tricky, I think that you’ll find we’ve CE marked the Elisa test for Mologic and the CE mark for their LFT was concluded elsewhere? We’re manufacturing it for them, we haven’t been involved with the CE mark. Hence the technical transfer

Scientists aren’t sure how long antibodies last, but the world is pinning its hopes on a vaccine, that will need topping up on a frequent basis (as often as every three months, potentially?) at a cost of BILLIONS of pounds annually.

so how do the propose to check people need the vaccine topping up? Finger in the air, hope for the best and blow £100 on every person in the country every 3 months?

Not a chance. there will be an antibody testing framework, to keep a track on the antibody immunity. Pay less than £4 per kit to test for antibodies or blow £100 for a vaccine top up? Given the size of the UK debt because of Covid, I don’t see a rush to spend money every 3 months if they don’t have to.

I think there will be more to come, mandatory rapid testing in airports, ports etc. Possibly even part of the UK Gov ‘back to the office’ plan in August.

What good is PHE approval, when you get Dido Harris killing it saying they don’t see any plans to roll out antibody testing?

my feeling is this is day traders, taking the profits from yesterday. 15-20% profit on £2k is beer money for the weekend for some.

It’s also announced out of hours if it is to happen, so an RNS at 7am would be fine

The link posted earlier regarding the procurement list, and the finger prick test being on there confirms that it’s a product the government want/need, and will prefer to buy from preferred suppliers. Ie, the consortium that they put together maybe?

there has been a lot of ramping, a lot of deramping and a lot of BS. But sometimes, it’s best to do your research, place your bet and watch... cut the noise and watch.

I believe we will see good news, can’t say days or weeks, as we just don’t know. But what we do know is, we’re at the table ready for when it does land

I fundamentally disagree with the PR, and the way the BoD have handled the SP drop since the placing, but I do believe the company will go places, maybe through luck rather than the great BOD.

We’re part of a UK gov consortium put together at the request of the gov. The government are seemingly looking to pursue a testing model to either identify who has had it to identity antibodies for immunity for x months, to allow travel or a return to work.

personally, my view is that if antibodies only last 3/6 months, it adds more value to the consortium companies, as the product will be needed more frequently and for a longer period.

the company need help from their PR co, their advisor in the form of the NOMAD. it feels like a nation that has got lucky and found oil, and now need to produce it and flog it to the masses.

I feel it will happen, just need to sit back and drown out the noise.
