Totally agree Barnacles,
I invested in AFC when I read an article in the Standard about Roman Abramovich taking a stake. I am sure that there are many investors here that have been PIs for even longer. The trouble is, we have heard it all before; even back in the Ian Williamson days, that we are almost ready for the commercialisation.
This is probably why there are so many cynical AFC PIs. We need something concrete, something that changes the bottom line from grants and handouts to actual income.
AB did confess AFC has been a victim of contract discussions taking longer than expected. Perhaps they need to re-evaluate this side of their business. There is clearly a 'first mover' advantage with CH2ARGE and AFC should not let this one go. This has more potential than the long list of MOUs that have been gathering dust as companies have approached AFC for this solution. AFC are saying they are ready, so what are we waiting for?
One point to note that there was not single mention of design changes or testing; definitely a change of emphasis that we are ready to rollout. Perhaps 2019 is the year that AFC finally turn the corner but then again we have been at said corners before.
