The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
An online buy earlier didn't go through straight away.
MMs not keen to sell their stock or complete malaise?
It's life, Jim, but not as we know it.
Another platform is showing the volume of trades totalling 9.8k rather than the tiny volume quoted here on lse.
Hey ho.
Signs of life as the weekend approaches......zzzzzzzzzzz
Down another 5.8% now.
Well done UJO! Snatching disaster from the jaws of victory.
Wasn't it encouraging to see the professional PR kick in to maintain a positive news flow over these last few weeks? Ok, so I didn't see any but I'm sure we're getting good value for money.
"It would be good to hear what the geos have been up to." Yes, it would. In fact, it would be good to hear anything at all!
That's us down 5.3% at the time of writing with very few trades.
Is something up a' mine?
I've lost track - do we have a professional PR outfit paid to maintain a compelling newsflow?
Whatever happened at the close of business yesterday afternoon seems to have sorted itself out today.
Some activity as we near the end of the month. Might we get a tweet showing the new truck?
SGZ's LinkedIn site continues to advertise new positions as the company ramps up. That must surely be a very encouraging sign as the company must be confident of a viable future.
Come on, Scotgold!
We need a season of liberal coverings with last year's Miracle Grow formula - if there's any left, that is.
With the increasing number of buys yesterday and this morning it's as if someone might have tipped a few others about something that might be happening fairly soon.
Unfortunately, that's all I have.
Where IS everyone?
The writer seems to be a fan of sorts - that's two mentions in as many weeks or thereabouts
"might include exploratory mining stocks such as Scotgold Resources"

Another article in the Press and Journal. Nothing that regular visitors here don't already know but good to see continued coverage.

The numbers and weights must be getting to me.
£750,000 per week (not £175,000 as my post below).
That's me done for today!
Quite right - it was ton and tonne that made me think plus the mention of (presumably troy rather than avoirdupois) ounces
:-)
£175,000 per week though - definitely nothing to do with weight. How close are we to that now?
It's still very quiet around here though, eh?
Last night's broadcast can be seen here. Some amazing figures quoted towards the end such three quarters of a million pounds' worth of gold every week in 2022, 175,000 ounces of gold and one miner estimating more than 14 grammes a tonne. Are the figures metric??

Evening all,
Good to see more coverage but one has to wonder at phrases like, "However, early investors could make big returns on this gold stock if the mine succeeds." Some of us are well into our second decade of being early investors and what returns have we made?
https://www.fool.co.uk/investing/2021/07/22/new-to-investing-3-gold-stocks-to-consider/
Rereading the Press and Journal interview: "“My mandate has been to get it (Cononish) to work, which I have done”, he said."
I wonder if that means to work at full capacity or to get it to work at all i.e. without things snapping or choking up because they're the wrong size.
If it's the former, the next announcement should be great and by this time next year....................
The second episode of Gold Town which will be shown on BBC 2 next Monday can be viewed here.
I haven't seen it myself yet so am about to sit and watch it.

Will it have a similarly positive effect on the share price??
(the guys you kicked out of the eurpean championship, you remember ^^)
Quite a few of us are Scottish and we were certainly not knocked out by Germany! ;-)
Episode 1 - that one that was on last night - is here:

This evening on BBC 2 at 19.00.
This will be seen by many more people than when it was first broadcast only on BBC Scotland.
So many people have stopped posting here maybe we should take a register like in the days of old at school.
As well as Twitter, there were encouraging words on LinkedIn - something about it being an exciting time to join the company alongside several positions it is looking to fill.
