The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
I've never known the board so quiet for so long.
Are we to expect an update tomorrow?
Before trust was annihilated twice, the share price would have reacted positively to all the very real activity at the various sites.
Now? "Nah, I've got plenty thanks. Someone else can buy them."
To me it's like one of those pyramid marketing schemes and holders now realise there is absolutely nobody left at all who isn't already in the scheme.
imo
Weekend quiet to ask if the expertise on the board can answer this:
1. From the RNS: "Modest amounts of gravity gold Dore was also produced and sent to refiners this month for further treatment."
2. In the interview, PD referred to getting results back in the middle of this week coming.
Do 1 and 2 refer to this same thing i.e. the extract that commands a premium price as it is used for jewellery? A good result would be what? 'Yes, a high percentage of that modest amount is suitable to be used for expensive jewellery.' Is that right?
Is there still doubt that it might not be of jewellery quality?
Or, is it further work on the big amount that is being done?
Confused - and anyone providing an answer will probably earn the gratitude of several visitors to the board.
Rounds up what we already know but it is a lot more positive than its last article.

My tuppence worth is that "all the past shenanigans" ABSOLUTELY HAVE "put investors off this share".
Three solid years at least of ramping; at least two catastrophic drops of 50% or more and now, when there really is tangible progress, there's seemingly almost nobody willing to buy even a few shares.
Not sure Usain Bolt could keep up with the likely speed of people exiting their positions as soon as they can.
That's what happens: people are reluctant to be shafted a third time.
imo
That's more than three hours gone without anyone spending even 38 pence on a single share!
And this is when we know there is activity happening on the ground. Years and years we've waited for this moment.
In normal circumstances wouldn't you expect a buying frenzy at this time?
It's as if trust in this outfit has been annihilated. I wonder how that could have happened.
If correct, does that put us on track for being able to pay back the director loan in five months?
It's as if a catastrophic 50% drop, not once but twice, has destroyed all trust in the company.
Strange that.
Here we are with solid evidence that things are really happening and no-one wants to know. In fact, we're down again.
Well played to all involved.
Or first there was one mine then two then three mines tick tock. lol Never say never: isn't it the case for that to happen the clock has simply to keep ticking for another 15 years?
Come on, Scotgold!
Where's Tyndrumbhoy gone? In various guises he was alway a good source of information about what was happening on the ground.
Is it telling that no one sought to change the title of this thread? Probably best just to leave it as it us until Sunday at least.....and then until the 31st May.........................
Maybe using an ouija board to get an idea of what's going on is worth a try.
This one is very apt for us, too:
Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
Surely it's not possible to hex SGZ by quoting from "The Scottish Play".....gulp
Does not having staff come under the category of teething troubles?
Still no word on the shipment by the end of the second week of May.....was it loaded onto an HGV or was a solitary carrier pigeon enough to carry it off to the refinery, assuming it happened at all?
Come on, Scotgold! Silence in our case is not golden.
Maybe meeting targets after the regime change is now so run-of-the-mill that OF COURSE it doesn't need to be publicised - an everyday occurrence. Still, a photograph on the website or a tweet wouldn't have hurt.
3650+ days bitten, once shy:- I double-checked "2021" was written after "the second week of May".
Hello again everyone,
This is what I was thinking about: "The Company is pleased to note that the Cononish processing plant has continued to operate throughout April. As previously announced, reaching the point of commercial production has taken longer than planned, however the Company is on track to make its first shipment of concentrate product expected to be made in the second week of May 2021."
That sounds separate from our premium product lol that would make up your anniversary ring, steelwatch1, doesn't it?
Won't that 'first shipment of concentrate product' (or indeed missing the target date) merit or necessitate either an announcement or RNS?
Tomorrow must see either a shipment of gold or an announcement to say that it's been delayed - is that correct?
Secondly, is it safe to assume that - acknowledged that this is a big proviso - provided everything goes to plan as per the most recent announcements, by early November we will have mined and sold enough product to a) pay back the £2 million director loan b) meet all other spending commitments?
If the above is right then even the short-term future should be golden, and by this time next year........
Indeed, yayay -in reality the sky to me looks very cloudy and I didn't choose the name Shergar blindfold in the office sweepstake. :-(
Hh - yesterday I also posted something about the need to improve sentiment hot on the heels of sorting out the technical 'teething troubles' which hammered the share price so I agree but, the 10 or so people who post here from time to time have done so for many long years so 'short time frames' makes for uncomfortable reading although in general what you say is true.
Great, I now have to prove I'm not a robot to post here.
