More publicity for H & W, with a mention on the Jeremy Vine show, which is being broadcast live from Belfast. INFA was not named-checked as the saviour, however.

With the amount of noise generated since INFA stepped in, I am starting to believe that there must be a plan for the shipyard, otherwise there is going to be a massive amount of egg on faces (and not just JW's!).

I do wonder, however, how many genuine investors in INFA would have willingly sunk cash into H & W independently, should such an opportunity have presented itself...

I really hope that my fears over Islandmagee are unfounded...

I held my counsel until recently, as I am not a fan of bulletin boards, or social media in general. Put my posting down to frustration, in part with myself.
I hold several million shares in INFA and am well underwater.
The last thing I want is to see the Islandmagee project derailed - be it by local opposition or internal incompetence!
Remind me, during the interview in July, did JW not as least hint strongly that EU funds would be received in September?
Did he not also state after the abrupt (and farcically explained) departure of GL in March that a replacement would be installed by the end of September?
As I have stated before, I care not for massaged, retrospective RNSs. What has been stated cannot be unstated; it can, however, be explained.
The fact that it has not is the cause of my greatest frustration.
Resorting to personal insults does you no credit, however much you disagree with the content of a post.

Setanta, they need money from somewhere - a lot of it, and fast! No point making a conventional placing at these price levels.

This "storm" has been raging for over 9 months; forget the rampy-pumpy 2p+ in January, I take the placing at 1.25p as the benchmark, following which there has been a relentless slide in the share price. Bar a quick bit of blue in October (allowing some to exit, no doubt), every piece of news released has hammered the share price further.

Milestones have quietly slipped, goal-posts have moved, focus has disappeared.

Like any bulletin board, INFA has more than its fair share of happy-clappers (as well as some outright deluded weirdos); it seems the cold light of day is bringing out the realists too.

Looks like someone is bailing - hope it's not a board member!
I shall be fascinated (watching through my fingers from behind the sofa) to see how the H&W thing is pulled off, never mind the FSRU.

You make some excellent points there.
The concerns must be where those funds are coming from and at what cost. There is such disparity between the size of the company and the sheer amount of cash it needs to bring its visions to fruition, especially as there are now, potentially, three of them!

I care not for a retrospective RNS.

Appointment of a new chairman was stated at the time of departure of the previous encumbent as before the end of Q3.

During his interview in July, JW stated that EU funds were expected imminently, more likely September than August when pressed. I cannot imagine that he is sitting awaiting an EU cheque through the letter-box, like a kid a Christmas. One would hope that he is in constant dialogue with the relevant EU authority, doing his best Bob Geldof impression. There is clearly a reason for the non-arrival of these funds, is it unreasonable to request an explanation, when he was so bullishly vocal about the timing in a widely broadcast interview, the primary purpose of which was to drum up investor interest?

There has also been much obfuscation as to the genuine status of the marine licence.

A year ago, we were invested in a potential salt cavern gas storage facility, decent research indicated that this was a decent opportunity. Then followed the blatant share price manipulation and the bailing out by certain "stalwart" shareholders, as well as the sudden, unexplained, departure of the chairman and the dismissal of the broker whose name shall not be spoken.

Today, we are invested in an entity with three, very different, potential irons in the fire, each pf which requires massive funding, wrapped around a market capitalisation of six million quid. Whilst H & W may yet prove to be a masterstroke of PR and political leverage, I am beginning to wonder whether it is a fall-back for the imminent failure of the original project.

It is all well and good setting out a series of milestones, but allowing them casually to slip, with not a word of explanation, is disingenuous to investors, at best. Hence the continued battering of the share price.

This is not the first time that the market has reacted negatively to public comment from the CEO. As a long-term holder with several million shares, unlike many here, I have been distinctly unimpressed with JW's interviews and public utterances; it seems I am not alone.

A halving of the share price in 2018, never mind the drop from the (clearly pumped) high in January and the subsequent placing price suggests that all is far from well. Blaming market manipulation is optimism at best, delusion at worst (though it clearly happens).

2 things are of continued and increasing concern to me: firstly, the abrupt departure of the chairman, with no hint of an explanation as to the real reason why; secondly, the recent focus on projects beyond Islandmagee - this smacks to me of diversion. Stick to the knitting, John!

Islandmagee is a massive project in and of itself and requires commitment and focus to bring to fruition, particularly now that 7 caverns are allegedly to be brought on-stream together.

My belief in Islandmagee was cemented when Arun was appointed, given that I have some (small) knowledge of Humbly Grove, thus I remain a committed long-term holder. Recent communications have tested my patience. It was all beer and skittles at the start of the year, with regular twitterage lapping up the positive share price activity. Stuff has now got real and the market does not like the board's reaction to it.

Happy-clapping on message boards cannot mask the reality of the market.
