Yep I also took a substantial amount at 2.40, just missed the 2.39 option! Ti's a gift imo at that price. Have also noticed not many after day sells reported so I'm hoping majority flushed through during business hours.. bodes well in my book. I still think seller wanted out before spud for whatever reason... maybe just BGF protocol policy, gawd knows!

ADV hedged all its bets on ONE drill, with no other assets under its belt... Using out-dated survey data for Buffalo. EOG is NOT the same! Not only does it already have a producing asset, but now it has a secure partner farm in for Serenity, which is already proven to have oil, and this is just an appraisal drill to firm up further how much oil in play... it's a win win.

Draft they can only sell into a growing sp when buyers come in... I'll eat my hat if it isn't BGF... Well actually I don't own a hat... but i'll buy one, then eat it! Onus is on BGF to report TR1 to EOG, they'll do it when they're ready!

I believe it is BGF trying to exit as much as poss before spud. Have to remember they're only here for a profit asap, they're not interested in a successful drill or not. They're simply not interested in the bucket of gold at the end of the rainbow! That is not their modus operandi!

They're interested in quick profit so they can have more funds available for the next project. They have to move quick to pack in as many projects in a period YET still prob making more many than anyone!

Even if their selling average ends up at 2.3p, they've pocketed well over £1M in a matter of months, and they'll have funded projects running in parallel ... Good business if you can get it! Personally I think it's a clever business strategy.. and also they will have done their due diligence before funding.

OIL is already present, this APPRAISAL drill tells us how big it is! With the technology in surveys these days, which has been improved 10 fold over the decade, the results become more accurate! Hence why i'm VERY hopeful in good results!

Well tbh ...thanks to the few here who've been checking regularly of the Stena Dons location, we already knew what the RNS states. I didn't expect the spud today... BUT hey... "later in the week" is good for me as there's only a few days left.

Will take this time to accumulate more at these low prices !

I think Wed/Thurs will announce spud, (but prob hear on I3E first)...But if we hear tomorrow..even better of course! Then it's just a case of 3 to 4 weeks wait for the hopefully spectacular results! Got a great feeling about this one!

Well Nubby, I did contact Stena Drilling and as far as the gent I talked to knows.. All Stena Offices are closed today... but he's not sure about the off-shore rigs. He said they should be operating today. I'm sure it'll be reflected in the RNS.

Not sure if we'll have spud on the Tuesday, will take time to anchor and prep for the drill... I'm assuming they're not working Monday with respect to the funeral of the Queen. I have no idea tbh...but since the rig is owned and operated by Stena Drilling Ltd, a Scottish based company, it's fair to assume the above.

The good news that we're n position for spud and motion for Serenity appraisal is now in progress!

Well tbvh, the whole point of AIM sector is for small companies to raise money and progress to a position where they become self sustaining.

What needs to be looked at is what their rate of expenditure is and on what was it spent, (of course there are other mitigating factors). I haven't looked into the financials, as i'm not currently invested...yet, (lol)

As I said, they're in collaboration with FQM, with a view to take the asset forward, BUT it will not be profitable for a while! This is all about investing now and wait , just that!

Potential being the word, it's just a technical agreement/collaboration of exploration with FQM of their project. Will take a while to come to fruition though. Good long term hold, nice to get in early.

As Selfish says, cash position maybe, but one has to wonder why EOG did what they did. Serenity will over cast a shadow over the Wressle asset if and when it comes through and EOG will be prepared to bring Serenity to fruition without sourcing further funding via dilution and wasting any time.

Let's get one thing straight... this is not a company or Bod that likes to screw around like a LOT of AIM BoDs. They're getting all necessary work done and consistently working to MKA thee company to be proud of!

The lack of comms could simply be that they're so close to MDA and financing, I mean like days away!... and the RNS they want to put out is one to put a smile on all our faces!

Excellent summary CristalBall.. I'm also assuming a small raise to get us through. I still have a lot of faith in the company. The facts speak for themselves and apart from the bad PR side of things, (which I believe is mostly due to the fact the BoD is as honest as f**k and a bunch of nerds, and PR is not in their vein of expertise), everything else stands as it is.. Solid!

Well if they've sold their intended block, we could see a good rise tomorrow as the pressure has been removed.
