Had to dig out the old Delorean and found some leftover cola and a banana peel, destroyed garage on the way back mis-timing entry, but hey I'll build a new one in 3 weeks time lol

We're targeting anything better than the 10ft in the original well to support the fact the thickness of the sands is better and growing along the geological survey. 20ft would be great, anything more, especially 40ft+ would be transformational to both I3E and EOG materialistically!

@Isdeer, they've prob done some maths and want to be in sufficient funds for sidetrack + earnings from other assets. I think they're THAT confident of the appraisal well. Which to me means they could be looking to accelerate production considering current energy climate... Or too simply as RNS states Drill the Sidetrack straight away and conduct another appraisal to further prove the asset. This way well is ready to produce. (two birds with one stone kinda thing).

"One of these scenarios includes a success case side-track that may be drilled in the upcoming Serenity appraisal well. The side-track could prove up further volumes in addition to those proven by the main wellbore and these additional funds will ensure that we have sufficient working capital to progress all of our assets under the potential growth scenarios that we are modelling."

Many will come in for the results, and we're not even 1 week into the drill yet, so it's early days. I'd prefer a nice steady climb to good results which will boost us even further.

@Herbert, there's no need for a placing atm, they're in cash and earning well thru Wressle. As per your question, the last placing was also done through Primary Bid, therefore you should get an account with themselves as lot's of other Companies fund raises are done through them these days and registered wanabe investors may also partake through their respective accounts.

I'll say one thing about the Ex CEO of Advance Energy, Leslie Peterkin... He sure knew how to sell the dream to the masses.. PR side of things was good.. So good investors, (me included), wouldn't let the fact sink in that the venture was solely based on very old data. Lesson learnt, some fingers burnt..stop loss saved a large portion of my backside. Now I'll focus on the Company history and the up to date facts with likes such as EOG and I3E, with whom I've been invested for a while.

Advanced Energy raised £20M for it's 50% stake in Buffalo, and placed close to a Billion shares, inc existing came to about 1.5B shares in issue. In contrast EOG raised £7M for its 25% stake in an already proved field, looking to prove it up further to a substantial size that would be transformational for the company when the good results are announced!

390M shares placed for that £7M fund, of which most have been washed through IMO looking at actions of last few weeks. Advanced Energy also had NOTHING else in their portfolio, everything rested on Buffalo outcome... In direct contrast, EOG has a share in Wressle already earning money. I would assume that EOG BoD saw an op to generate cash quickly to fund their stake in the I3E venture.

Thursday & Friday saw a definitive reduction in the aggressive selling which leads me to believe the flush is tailing off now and we should see a climb now as investors move in without having to have the brokers fill large sell orders in the background.

Good find Draft, I've always said that the Govt.'s latest view to satisfying our own energy needs is purely to take away making a large percentage of it being imported. It's a hard lesson learnt, Russia holding the EU to ransom! Whether they like it or not, the damage to economies are being decimated in such a short span of time is primarily a large proportion of Putins actions especially after we're still recovering from Covid era! Putin struck while the iron was hot, unfortunately for him he's also kamikazi'd himself to an extent.

Was gona write a lot...but isdeer beat me to the punch.. NOT exploration well, BUT APPRAISAL well.. Oil is already present, we want to know HOW much OiP is, THAT is what changes the future materialistically for EOG.

The current downward pressure is through sells and this will diminish eventually, maybe even today, who knows right now.

@isdeer, Completely agree.. it's just a political move which most knew wouldn't get passed local planning as they have the last word. It's a proven fact on the detrimental effect of fracking local geological structure. There's enough energy available for the UK to harness for the next many many years before we're fully Carbon neutral as a nation!

EDR may have fracking licence but local sentiment isn't there and there consent is the main concern here.. Unless Govt. overrules local council, which is never going to happen when we have other viable resources like North Sea.

I think the sell order was put in yesterday in the morning but worked in all day yesterday and today and finally dealt with. That could've been the final push from seller, if so...we won't get a TR1 for 3 days as the last was reported on the 2nd and RNS's on the 5th IIRC... Tomorrows price action will determine this I assume and we should climb.

Yanis, there's no point in worrying about it. Whoever is selling will eventually be done, whether it's BGF, (who might still have a few left), ....or someone else. As we now move towards target depth and good news the sp will be in a better place. I myself am also down from my purchase yesterday, could've bought more today but it's just too much exposure in one investment and i'm happy with my lil bundle of shares that I hope to see triple by TD and over!

Yanis... this well is just an appraisal well to decipher the oil column thickness here and from this the company can ascertain where to drill a sidetrack production well... the appraisal well isn't by design to be a production well!

It's like having a closed chest of gold....we can only guess as we picked it up and it's bloody heavy! Once u finally open it to realise there's a LOT of gold...everyone want to be your friend lol

Yep this is an appraisal well to decipher the size of Serenity.... once they realise the size, plans for sidetrack to get the most of this field will be assessed!

@Serif, I agree... massive amount flushed during business hours. On BGF notification on the 5th, that they crossed threshold on the 2nd Sept. with 5.925% left, which over 12 working days is approx 4.7M shares/day, and of course not forgetting the Warrants, (peanuts tbh).

4.7M not being accurate amount /day as some days we went through more... and some less, but either way I reckon they're done and dusted, with today being the final push!

Thursday Friday should be interesting as pressure is now relieved after this constipation from EOG's backside being BGF and its shares!

This same instance of drama occurred over on ADV when it was also flushing placing shares, right up to spud...and it happens a lot with other AIM ventures.
