i’m on ventura bot. it was no big deal apart from a delay in getting through gate 10 and then a delay for embarkation. apparently a lorry driver was ****ed off about something and made an unsubstantiated claim and protocols were followed.

What Bot is saying is usually if interest rates fall then equities rise and sterling should also fall. So we should a rise in share price from the rate drop and an extra rise on the exchange rate but it’s been the opposite.

The market is never rational. Good luck all.

I expected us to open lower this morning but we are up a little 🤷‍♂️. Interest rate cut today should help too.

Dollar has dropped back a little on lower oil prices but US futures are well up at the moment. Tariffs due for tomorrow unless the can is kicked down the road again. Never a dull moment.

Bit of an odd day Bot. I thought we would be well up and then comments from the Fed pushes the SP down very quickly. Then back up again and Petrodollar gives a better exchange rate which means we could get a tiny gain in the morning. Norwegian interim results tomorrow sees the whole merry go round again tomorrow. Any ideas where we will be tomorrow?

RCL posts excellent results for q2 but share price down 4% pre market. What will happen at 2.30?

Wow. I hate having to tender, such a waste of time. I can’t see them charging for that as many people would either stay on board or not even cruise at all thus having a negative effect on top and bottom lines. Still it’s a strange old world so who knows. Way things are going we could see £21 today.

Trade deal with Japan has pushed up far east markets which hopefully will be reflected in US market later today. Can only be good news for all stocks. Royal and Norwegian both reporting next week too. Fingers crossed for another push upwards.

Strange day. Will he won’t fire Powell. Dollar weakens then strengthens again. Markets way down and now back up. Always fun with President Trump and how what the media reports affects the market. Hopefully back to £20 tomorrow.
